Ooooookaeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2day's workout was something called "Low Max Extended" and whoever put it together must have worked for the military at some point!!!!:+ :+ :+ :+
What this "extended" version of LM is, is you insert 2 sets of leg exercises (with light to medium weights) in between cycles. E.g. after interval #1 I did 20 reps of squats and 20 reps of plie squats with a 30lb barbell... after interval #3 I think I did 2 sets of 16 reps of leg presses on the high step (at least I think I did that.. it's all a blur!!!!). Then, at some point I remember static lunges with a barbell... took me about 90' to do it...
Needless to say I was so drenched it was like I had dived in a pool and came straight out without toweling myself first.
I almost had a heart attack yesterday. Took my pup Merrick for a walk at about 7 pm, the weather was quite hot and when we came back she had trouble breathing, her eyes were bulging and her tongue was purple... she lay down in the garden and I took the hose to cool her down... she was on the verge of a heatstroke, stupid dog!!! She literally has no sense of heat or discomfort if it means she can go for a walk. She runs like crazy in the park and doesn't listen to me. Then, when she comes home breathless she looks up at me to make her feel better!!! Funny thing, though, when she was lying in the garden and I was throwing water with the hose she lifted her hind leg on the side so I could wet her belly!!!! I swear, she is so irritating at times but so sweet!!!! I decided I will be talking her for her evening walk after 8:30-9:00 pm... I knew French Bulldogs have trouble breathing, but Merrick tops them all!!!!
Anyways, that's my news for Monday.
Got to go back to work.
