I just read Artie Lange's "Too Fat To Fish"...a bit self indulgent but okay if you are a Howard Stern/Artie Lange fan..

I am just starting Denis Leary's "Why We Suck" tonight..

The fellow that wrote The Kite Runner also wrote A Thousand Splendid Suns. Could not put the book down, kids ate cereal for dinner and I even forgot to take the dogs out for a potty break! BTW, The Kite Runner was also spectacular, the move was bleh!

I read ATSS -- couldn't put it down, similar to you, but have not yet read The Kite Runner. Maybe over the christmas vacation...
