Any advanced exercisers get Cathe's new beginner high step workouts?

I'm seriously considering the HSTA - I'm intermediate - low advanced. I work out with most of Cathe's workouts and pre-ordered the Hard Core series.

I figure as long as I'm getting HSTA maybe I should get the others too? That's what always happens to me with Cathe. If you are intermediate or advanced and bought them - do you use them, do you like them, how do you use them and do you think it was a good investment.

I appreciate your help.

RE: Any advanced exercisers get Cathe's new beginner h...

Good Morning.

I consider myself to be an advanced exerciser and I purchased the two beginner/intermediate DVDs (although I must admit that if Cathe came out with workout geared towards the seniorest of senior citizens I would probably purchase that too, and I'm only just about to turn 39!).

I've tried Body Fusion and the high step intermediate workouts. I liked them both, but I did make them harder using heavier weights. I figured these would be my lighter day or not-feeling-so-great workouts. I think I also used an eight inch step height with these two. I'm sure I won't use these as much as all the other advanced stuff, but I'm not sorry I purchased them. My only negative comment would be that the music isn't as "motivating" as the music in the other series.

Hope that helps,

I also consider myself advanced, and I bought the two beginner/intermediate ones as well. You can easily modify them "up" by using heavier weights, going up a level or two on the resistance tubing, and raising the step height. For Basic Step, I'm going to use it as a warm-up to one or more of the add-ons, making the workout an hour or a bit more in length. There are so many ways to use all three of these DVD's! Plus, if I need a "lighter" workout for one day, one of these two DVD's will be perfect just as is!
