Another Which One Question

I know there have been several questions of this type posted, but I would really appreciate some feedback from those who have done and/or looked at meso 2 and 3. I would love to buy the entire STS package, but can seriously only afford one right now (and in the near future). My goal right now is muscle growth and definition, so I have narrowed it down to either 2 or 3. I have plenty of muscle endurance type workouts already.

Here's my question - I really want the plyo legs workouts that come with meso 3. In your opinions, could I modify meso 3 somewhat to achieve similar benefits as those from meso 2? For example, do a few more repetitions with weights comparable to what I would have used for meso 2? My body responds well to meso 2 type workouts, but my lower body loves plyometrics!

IMHO, if you wish to purchase only one mesocycle right now, then yes, you could purchase Mesocycle 3 and modify it to produce more of a hypertrophy effect. You will want to check to see if the package for Meso 3 also includes the optional Squat Rack Legs discs, which the exerciser can use in lieu of Plyo Legs if s/he wishes.

I would suggest purchasing Meso 3, AND the printed STS Users' (sic) Guide; this user guide, which was a very happy surprise, gives a complete breakdown of each and every drill (including sets and reps and % of 1RM) of each and every workout, replete with photos of each drill as well. I believe this guide would come in very, very handy for you especially with your goals listed above.

Since muscle growth and definition is your goal- you should purchase meso two. Below is Cathe's description of meso two and her description seems to fit your stated goals. Can you purchase the plyo legs discs separately?
