Animal Adoption

Today was my first day shooting photos of cats for Project Purr. Project Purr is an group which rescues cats from death row at various animal control facilities in our city. I really can't foster any animals since I already have 3 to take care of, but I can take their pictures.....a great way to combine two things I love, animals and photography. I hope this is just the beginning of helping these loving creatures find their Forever homes. Today I had a photo shoot with Lionel.

While I was there, I took a photo of Ducie, the rescue dog who shares his home with 6 cats. He thinks he's a cat, too.

Please consider animal adoption, but only if you are really willing to commit!

I get to go on another photo shoot today....taking pics of 7 kittens. I have to resist the urge to take them home with me. I already have two of my own, and a parrot to boot. I see a new avenue of work opening up for me maybe....pet portraits maybe ??
