>office**

LOL! I was going to do plie jacks in celebration, but I don't have a private office. ;)

Renting a car sounds awesome. Maybe we should wait and see who else is coming in around the same time and if there are more, we could get a minivan or something?

My flight is costing me $420 Cdn round trip. I'm not sure what that is in US Dollars. Wait, I just did a conversion. It's $332! So worth it:D

I wish I was flying with you ladies then I would have all kinds of hands to hold. My insides are jumping around just thinking about flying by myself and not having a clue what I am doing!

Awww, Sabrina - you will do just fine! :) Just take deep, calming breaths. Did you get window seats on your flights? I like window seats so I can see outside during takeoff and landing, it makes me feel calmer for some reason. And it prevents me from getting motion sickness. :) Also, if you tell the flight attendant that it's been 15 years since you've flown, and you're kind of nervous, they will tell you what to expect during your flight and all that fun stuff.

If you DO have a window seat for your flights, bring a camera because when you fly into Chicago from Peoria, you fly right over Lake Michigan with a fabulous view of downtown Chicago - it's a really neat picture (you need to be on the left side of the plane). :)

Thanks Emily! I hope I do fine too! I do have a window seat. I don't believe I am on the left though. Darn! Maybe someone else will be arriving on Thursday too. I didn't know if I would have the stomach for pizza eating with everyone if I arrived on the same day or not so I thought I would give myself an extra day. I just have to think positive. DH looked for the information on that bracelet you were talking about on his flight last week and didn't see anything. I wonder where else I can look. I thought it might help with the motion sickness.

Is there something specific that you take Shelley? Do you have problems with motion sickness? I have a hard time. I can't turn around in our van to take care of our 3 year olds needs (every 5 minutes) very many times or the motion gets to me. I HATE the on/off ramps for the interstate! Uugghh!

Oh Shelley, you big WUSS! ;)

I do NOT want to have to carry you around the Philly airport because you're too drugged up to walk straight. Or worse, have to track you down because you couldn't find your way off the plane when it landed in Philly, and ended up flying to Timbuktu stuck in the airplane lavatory. I am not going to Timbuktu to get you. So, no medication for you! :p

;) Naahhh, you're not a big wuss. And neither is Shelley, really. I just like teasing y'all. Both of you will be fine. Hopefully the flights won't be very bumpy. A lot of people take dramamine before flying, but it does make you sleepy. I don't have any personal experience with the Relief Band, but it is FDA approved, for what it's worth. You may want to try epinions.com to see what other people have said about it.

ETA: Here are reviews from real people - looks like this thing really works for most people. I may be getting one of these too! :)

Sabrina, the meds I take aren't for motion sickness, they're for anxiety. Strangely, although I grew up flying all over the place, now that I am a certified control freak, the whole flying thing makes me nervous, and little planes even more so. I take something called Clonezapam. Actually, it would work for you too. Because you may be motion sick but really you wouldn't care.:p

And Emily, just for calling me a wuss and telling me you won't come get me in Timbuktu (or Constantinople), I'm going to do my best to smell like a fainting goat for the duration of our hotel stay. Angie won't care - she can't smell anyway;) There is Lunacat to think of, but maybe she won't mind.

I know you were just teasing! I just had to tease back. I will have to check the epinions site later and see if I can find anything.

Shelley - are we talking about legal meds here???? }(

Our flight to Philly is serving lunch. Wonder if they'll let us schedule an impromptu IMAX session afterwards?!? :7

Sabrina - I added a link to my message above with TONS of reviews. Epinions didn't have any, but drugstore.com did. Check it out! :D

Emily-sounds like it works. It would be great if it will work on me! I can't believe the little bugger costs $70 though. I think if it does work it would be well worth it!

OOOOO, I didn't even notice we got a meal! Airlines hardly ever serve meals anymore. Hmmm. IMAX after eating airplane food... I'm thinking probably not. Unless we are ALL wearing the anti-nausea wristbands! Could you just see us doing plie jacks in the aisle of the plane? :D

"This is your captain speaking. We have reached our cruising altitude, so the Fasten Seatbelt sign has been turned off. You are free to move about the cabin, but we ask that you please refrain from doing step aerobics in the aisle."
