Thanks DebbieH (I think). hehe I had better get my butt in gear and at least learn the top 10. I am in so much trouble! LOL! I need a teacher!! Does anyone want to volunteer? Help!:p

Shelley,
I celebrate in solidarity with you. No plie jacks!!!!!! And I would just like to point out that NO ONE mentioned power scissors/lunges...just wanted to point that out.
Mattea

Which of Cathe's step tapes would best cover the majority of these moves?

Thank you,
Debbie D'Angelo

Shelley,
The power jig is in the step portion of SJP if you have that one and care to check it out. If not, there is a quick clip of it that plays as part of the montage during the intro any of the Body Blast series videos. I say all this b/c it's pretty hard to explain, much easier if you just see what it's like. If all else fails, you pretty much put one foot onto the step, kick a little bit with the other foot, bring that foot back down, then the other (so now both are on the floor) kick the first foot out a little, and put your hands behind your back. Having said all of that I would like add that power jigs have always been somewhat hit or miss with me. Sometimes I can do them fine, sometimes fine only on one side, and sometimes it just doesn't come together. Not really surprising after my rather inspired description, eh?;-)
Don't worry they aren't tough, except as far as coordination goes.

We will have a step available during the Friday night get together to review any moves people may want to see visually. I am sure we can find volunteers to show any of the top 10 moves...

I hope this helps.
Lorrayne

Wow! That would be great Lorrayne, 'cause as I posted on another thread, I still don't get the 6 count mambos.

RE: 6 count mambo

Marla,

I had a hard time getting the footing right on this one. We'll be more than happy to walk you through this, or any other, move Friday night. We'll do it until you're comfortable with it. Not to worry as I have a feeling several of us have 2 left feet (I know I do). I had the worst time figuring out how to shuffle along the board. My feet just didn't know how to do this until someone physically showed the move to me. The lightbulb went on and I can now happily shuffle down the board! :D

Hi Deb!

Great job!!! You are the best!! I felt like an idiot because I responded before I realized it was pertaining to the road trip..haha

I LOVE your aerobics Queen too!!! I had asked you for any picture of yourself and there it is..haha You ALWAYS come through for us, Deb.

Love YA,
Lisa:)

Hi all! Do I DARE say I jumped up & down with a bit of glee when the Plie Jacks didn't make it?;-) But, we have to admit, they are better then Terminators, right? (You just never know though, Cathe just MAY sneak a few extra moves in on us when we least expect it. BE SCARED and VERY prepared!) Lisa, we were thrilled to have everyone's input and we included those votes too. Hopefully, there will be a webcame so you all can join in. I'll see if they have any way they can make that possible for those that can't make this trip. We will all def have tons of pix to share with you all. Thank Lorrayne for the idea of having a step available for us all Friday nite at the bonding party. I will be in line to learn the power jig as I have no idea what that is. Guess I need to dig out SJ&P and take a peek. As far as which moves are in which videos, please post a question asking and we'll do our best to get back to you. Cyber hugs to you all til we meet!

RE: 6 count mambo

Hey norma...I just checked out your website and I have to say WOW...you have done an awesome job w/ your weightloss. You're such an inspiration!

Heather

Norma!

Hmmm, let's see... it is a rock up on top of the step, rocking your feet from side-to-side. I KNOW that doesn't help a bit. Do you have Imax3? I am pretty sure it is in that workout. Let me get back to you on it and also think of a better way to describe it for you. Keep in mind, we can practice any moves we are all having difficulty with on Friday nite.
