an idea

Cathlete
I hope Cathe is resting today and not looking at the boards...if anyone can suggest how to manage this so she doesn't see the thread that would be great.

Anyway, I was thinking that Cathe has worked herself half to death getting these new workouts done for us after being seriously injured, and has had to see some really negative, unpleasant emails too. I'd love to send her a thank you! I can do so on my own but I remembered a year or two ago several of you got together to send her cookies on her birthday and I thought it would be great if all of us who appreciate her and everything she does for us all the time did something as a group.

Any thoughts? Any ideas how to organize this, preferably off-line?

Kristen

Hi Kristen. I sent you an e-mail but your automated response came back. If you can - access it for a thought.

Kristen,

I would love to do something, anything pleasant for Cathe please let me know if and when it has been decided.

The idea is to die young as late as possible.

Please count me in, as well. I love to do something special for our Cathe after all the trauma (and drama) she's had to endure lately. Please let me know.

Thanks,

Wendi

Count me in. Frankly, I'm shocked at some of the posts about "where's my order" "where's my free gift" "this is unfair, I should've gotten mine first."

These are exercise DVDs, not liver transplants for pete's sake.

Thank goodness for Cathe's graciousness & patience with us. Honestly, if I were her I'd have thrown up my hands in frustration by now & said "the heck with these people, I'll make my workouts & let people pre-order but I won't make the effort to update them anymore."

Anyway, I'll contribute to anything anyone wants to do to thank her for her patience & hard work.

I got a great idea from Lorrie to contact Kathy Shapiro and see what she has in the way of an email list for folks who would be likely to want to contribute. I think I'll do that now and then take down the posting, if that's possible, so Cathe doesn't see it, though this probably doesn't absolutely have to be a surprise!

Anyone who wants to contact me directly about this can do so at [email protected]. My email address currently on file with cathe.com is my work email and I'm going to change it now to the yahoo address just to keep this manageable.

Thankfully, it seems like the panicky posts are starting to slow down. For a while, I was tempted to avoid the forums until after all the petty, whiney, overly-impatient posts had cooled down.
I'd rather Cathe and crew spend their time now getting the workouts sent out than trying to deal with 700! emails and numerous threads from impatient folks needing their workouts NOW! and not having the modicum of patience to wait until mid-week to see if there is actually a problem.

Enthusiasm is one thing, but this panicked, frantic stuff is really annoying and ennervating.

Kristen!! I tried to email you, but for some reason I'm getting an error message. Can you email me and let me know any details, please?
I would love to be included.

Thank you!

Kathy
