amount of weight

Hi CAthe....I have a question...I ordered your Pure Strenght DVD and I was wondering what weight you use for each of the exercises...it looks like alot!! I hadn't actually done the dvd yet, but I was looking at it so I could prepare what weights, bench etc I was going to be needing and I just wanted to say..my goal is to be a competetive bodybuilder...lately with everything going on I just want a strong, healthy, lean, muscular body..yours is ideal CAthe..your arms are just sooo awesome!!! I was immediately motivated!!! Is there anyway that I can get the poundage you are using for this dvd...I'll know what goal to shoot for (I don't plan on hurting myself, so not to worry) God bless you!

I just did PS CST last night and I can share some of the weights I remember her using. For chest press I think she used a barbell with 15lbs loaded on each side, but I dont know how much her barbell weighs probably 5lbs? So 35lbs for chest press. She uses 10lb dumbells I believe for chest flys though in other series I've seen her use 12's and 15's. For shoulder work she uses 5, 8 and 10 lb dumbells for most of the exercises. Tricep work used 8's and something heavier maybe 12? for close grip dumbell presses. I did PS BBA last week and unfortunately dont remember the weight off the top of my head but do remember she uses 40lbs for T-bar rows. Hope this helps some.

Stacy is right about the weight of the plates Cathe & crew used in the Pure Strength series, however the bar they are using weighs 15 lbs (it's the full metal bar).

The troy lite bar that Cathe & crew use is black as are the plates, that bar does weigh 5 lbs.
