American Idol

Well, since you brought up Paula, did anyone notice that she seemed intoxicated last night? I heard from a source that it is not just Coke in her drink...

Yeah, I too wonder about what Paula may be on sometimes. I seems she is either spacey, overly giddy, or obnoxious. I dunno, but I think she gets on Simon's nerves alot.

OT - Brandi! I got a picture trail started and put a couple of Violet on there to practice. But I'll let you know when I get the rest of the pics posted and link the trail so you can see another golden retriever that is adorable like your jackieboy! :7

Paula obviously has drug or alcohol problem. And yes, her left eye was definitely drooping. I wonder if she had a Botox injection gone wrong?
Ace gives me the creeps. I liked him at first and now I can't imagine what I saw in him. I hope he goes soon!

Well, we don't have Kevin to kick around any more! I thought he took all the teasing with a lot of class. He was much more mature than John Stephens, the red headed geek from a couple of seasons back.

yeah, Kevin got the boot. I don't know why he was there so long! He had the granny vote, but maybe they couldn't stay up late enough to vote Tues. night:eek: But, in all fairness to him, he handled it with class!:) I think now, it could be anyone's win. They will have to bring their best performance every time they sing!

Just something I was watching on TV about Paula. It appears that she has severe issues with her vertebrae and pain from her choreography days as well as several operations. What you describe as drunk could be more pain medicine related. I don't remember all of what she has as problems but I do remember them saying that she has a high pain tolerance and is on heavy medicine that makes her a bit strange.

My favorites are Mandisa, Chris, Kathryn, and I like Kellie, Taylor and Paris but feel the first 3 will be the contenders.

I think America got it right this week, especially with--finally!---giving Kevin the boot.

I missed it last night and I'm so glad to hear that Kevin is gone. Every time he would sing I would groan. He looked like a dear caught in head lights and I just didn't care for the nasily voice.

I'm so glad Kevin's gone, too! I thought we were going to have to put up with him a lot longer because of the vote for the worst people. Yay!

The "what's a ballsy?" comment from Kelly really put the nail in the coffin for me - she NEEDS to go home next, even though it will probably be Bucky or Lisa. There's a difference between being a country girl and being a blatant idiot. She apparently thinks it's cute because it gets attention, but I just feel embarrassed for her. If she could actually sing, I might feel differently...

Oh, and Elliott might not be a pretty boy, but he's one of the best male singers I've ever heard - on or off American Idol. I'll be one of the first to buy his CD when it's released.

I think Mandisa is incredible. What a beauty too.

I always root for Elliot though because I think he's kind of an underdog since he's not much of a looker.

Thank God Kevin's gone. He annoyed me with his smug little smirk.

I keep expecting Kellie to break out into "Everything's up to date in Kansas City" from Oklahoma! ("And then I put my ear to a Bell telephone and a strange woman started in to talk! What next?")
