It does sound like you are already at a healthy weight. It depends on how tall you are. From what I've read you should be eating 1300 to lose. Just never go below 1200. It sounds like you are trying to lose that last 5 pounds. Hopefully you have a healthy stopping point in mind. We all have a size zero mindset anymore. Just make sure you are smart about it and keep your BMI above 19. It's easy to get carried away. No one's ever skinny enough anymore.
If you exercise than you can add the calories you burn during exercise to the 1300 from what I've read. I've done this before and I know it works. It's slow but healthy. I'm aware of how many calories are in the foods that I eat now.
It makes sense to feel somewhat hungry. You are giving your body less than what it needs to sustain it's current weight. Protein will help. It take a lot longer to digest protein than carbs. Give up the pop and drink water instead. Sugar will use up the calories quick and leave you feeling very hungry with no nutrition. High fiber oatmeal is filling and low cal. Low sodium soup is filling. Can't go wrong with a big juicy apple. Yum yum.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from the pills.
