aluminum free antiperspirants???

hopefull

Is there such thing as an "aluminum free" antiperspirant? I've read the back on everyone at Wal-mart and couldn't find one. The second ingredient varies, but all had aluminum as the first ingredient.

They sell natural deoderants without aluminum at health food stores, but I've never seen an antiperspirant. My aunt uses one of the deoderants (can't remember which brand)and she really likes it. Sorry I don't have more information.

If aluminium-free is what you're looking for, I would recommend the "Jason" line of natural personal-care products. The Aloe Vera one they make is especially nice (IMO).

Yes, there are aluminum free deoderants, but I'm not sure if they're also antipersperants. One that I've used is Crystal Roll-On. It seemed to work fine. I believe Tom's of Maine also makes an aluminum-free deoderant as well.

I've seen both of these in chain drug stores like Brooks.

As others have mentioned, the best place to find an aluminum-free deodOrant is a health food or natural food store. "Pure and Basic," "Kiss My Face" and "Avalon" are three brands to look for(some drug stores might have "Kiss My Face" and also the deodorant rocks).

I don't recall ever seeing a natural anti-perspirant.

Why do you need an anti-perspirant? I've been using plain deodorants most of my life with no complaints. ;) My skin can't tolerate anti-perspirants at all. The best ones I've ever tried are made by a company called Crystal. http://www.thecrystal.com/

<<I knew that wasn't how deodorant was spelled, but I was to lazy to think very hard about it!:7 >>

You and me both! I got antiperspIrant wrong too.:p
I wish this forum had a spell check feature...

I have tried a bunch of the more natural brands. The best (IMO) are the Jason's roll on (I use the tea trea oil or alove vera one) or Kiss My Face Liquid Rocks (also a roll on).

You're lucky, when I stress I perspire. I deoderant alone just won't cut it. I use a deoderant on the weekends, but at work I need more. Thanks for the link, I will check it out.

I am thinking of changing as well...I am not going to try Jasons or Kiss my Face....I heard from another website that they don't really work really well.

I'm only sharing what I have learned from others on another website...the good ones so far are called "Thai Crystals".... the reviews so far were excellent and so much better than those mentioned above (they compared them to both). I only wish I could say I have tried them so I could pass it along....but I haven't yet. I am only going by word of mouth...I do plan to buy it in the next week or two so if you want you can PM me in a week or two and I will be happly to let you know my thoughts.
