Alternatives to Stability Ball

Hi everyone, thank you for reading.

So many workouts I am sorry to miss out on because I can't use a standard stability ball, even the "petite" sized ones are too large for the workout space I can dedicate to my practice. I see now that they have peanut inflatables largely used for labor but I am wondering if anyone can advise on the use of one of these as a smaller alternative to the use of a stability ball in Cathe's workouts? I like how the sizes offered range widely. Please let me know thank you immenseley for any input.

When you say you don't have the space, are you talking about for doing the exercises or for storage? If it's for storage, before I made my room bigger, I used the corner of my wall near my ceiling and a cargo net from my car. I attached each side of the net to the wall and it made the ball completely out of the way. I still use it even with my space being bigger, I just hate things on the ground. I have 2 nets in 2 different corners because I have 3 balls (Large, small, and 9 inch pilates ball). If it's because you don't have the space for the exercises, I don't think any size ball can really help with that, but they do make a small that is 38-45cm, that's a lot smaller than my large at 58-65cm.

So there are several items you may have that you can use instead of a stability ball:

Most moves you can use a sturdy chair. For other moves:
rollouts you can use sliding discs;
for squeezing the ball between the legs you can use a yoga block;
and for stretches you can use a towel/resistance band.

If there's a specific move you have a question, then you can ask and I'm sure one of us can give you some ideas. :)
