all you folks in those humid states

Agzo,

Where are you in Florida. I live in Ocoee, NW of Orlando. I work in Orlando.

I have tried running in the early hours and it takes me a half hour just to cool down. We do some cycling on the weekends, leaving the house about 8:00.

I prefer Cathe's cardio, indoors with A/C and water.

Hey Candi,
I'm over in east Orlando, I work in research park and have a hard time doing much before work. I have a stationary bike I ride indoors and I do some indoor kickboxing but as for running I only do it when its cooler out. I ran in the ran last week and it was quite refreshing.

Angel,

I can't believe it. Another Catheite in Orlando. There may be more but you're the only one who has admitted it. I'm familiar with East Orlando. I lived in the Conway area for about 25 years. My daughter went Boone High School. Are you near UCF?

Yep, just around the corner. Some of Research park is affillated with UCF, alot of companies are in this area. I'm still a newbie but I got hooked quick.

I used to work at the Lockheed Martin facility on the East Side near Alafaya. I'm now at the Sand Lake Road facility.

Hi there -
I live in Arkansas, and the only time I have to work out is after work, which is of course the hottest, nastiest part of the day. I just endure... and feel pretty darned good when I finally adjust for the summer. Yes, you can adjust to the humidity! Sometimes I use AC, but haven't yet this year. I used to run, too, and you know there's no AC that way. But what's really nice is when autumn finally hits and the humidity finally disappears. On those first crisp, cool days, let me tell you, I can just fly through a workout! :)

I have to cut grass in this 100 degree/500% humidity after work today... ugh..... (really only suppose to be in the 90's here, just feels like 100+....

Wow thats so cool..the office I'm working for volpe is right off alafaya.
Thats so neat to have someone so close by. I see you have been familar with cathe alot longer than me...I can't wait till I can build up a decent collection :D

Hi Buttercup,

I was just wondering if you had ever lived in New Orleans since you made a comment about it. Funny that you said something about the rain, because that is exactly what it has been doing all day here (in New Orleans).

You are so right about being below sea level. I am anxious to see if we will have to evacuate for any hurricanes this year.

Hang in there!
