All Step

I am sorry if this is a question that seems silly.

I would like to know how many calories you burn if you do the all step video all the way through with the weights and crunches.

Go to http://www.caloriesperhour.com and put in your information it will ask for your height, weight, age, sex and then you put in the activity. You can choose to break it down into cardio and weights for a more accurate determination of calories burned. I love this site and the man who runs it really researched the formula the site uses to determine what you burn doing different activities. Click on the 2nd link down when it is fully loaded.

Hope that helps you some:7

I actually did that workout yesterday wearing my heart rate monitor. I didn't put it on until after the warmup as I forgot. I burned 248 calories. I know this differs from person to person. I weigh 127 pounds and consider myself intermediate level.

Great thanks. I am 10 pounds heavier than you are. How does that work if you weight more do you end up burning more calories.

Tina, yes normally a heavier person will burn more calories; however, it also depends on the person's fitness level. I'm just now getting back into Cathe cardio and had to stop a couple of times for my heart rate to come down. Someone who weighs more than I do may actually burn less if this workout is easy for them.

Have any of you looked at the section that calculates your ideal weight for your height? Was it just me, or did the "healthier weight" calculation seem kind of low? (I sure hope it's not just me!!).

Yes, the healthier weight seemed very low to me also. I'm only 5' and it said 95 pounds for a lean healthy weight. I've weighed 92 pounds before and I was way too thin. But another weight it gave was 111 which I think is very reasonable for my height.
