After 4DS, should I move to S&H or GS?

Hi everyone,

Next week, I'm hoping to wrap up a mini-rotation I've been doing using the new 4DS series. Afterwards, I want to move into doing three weeks each of S&H and GS. (I was doing a rotation of GS first and then S&H before the 4DS arrived, and loved the results I was getting.) I'm not sure which series would be best to do after doing the heavy weights in the 4DS.

Would it be better to move to S&H first or GS first if my goals are to continue to build muscle and gain some definition?

I don't want to shock my body too much by making the wrong move!

Thanks in advance for any advice and help!

Leanne

If you are looking to grow (muscle hypertrophy) I would go with GS. The rep range is more conducive to growth. The 3 sets of 8 in S&H is more conducive to strength gains. IMO. Of course remember if you want to build muscle you must be eating to build. You can not build muscle if you are in a calorie deficit.

Thanks, Catherine!

If I still would like to lose about 4-5 more pounds, though, then should I wait to try to build more muscle? Would it be alright to move from GS to S&H in a few weeks?

Thanks!!
