Aerobic Striptease anyone?

This type of workout is becoming a favourite for woman in Auss. There are also classes for men, but I dont think they use a pole. Havent been to a class yet myself, and Im not sure if I have the confidence anyway. Has any one here attended a class?:)
 
I saw something like that on Oprah. I have read an article about it also. I have always been a little shy when it comes to stripping for my husband, I don't do it. It would be fun to know some "moves" so you could look like a real "stripper". Men love that!!
 
I have 2 support poles in my workout room--they are in the middle of the room & support the 2nd floor of my house. They are about 6 inches around--probably much bigger than a "real" pole. We had to paint our space & I got silver spray paint for my poles--guess what I told the old man I would take up for him?! LOL

Carmen Electra used to sell some tapes that looked like they would have a very high Fun factor. I can't search for this kind of stuff at work -- the sites are all blocked. If you do a search on MSN.com it should give you some good results.

In all seriousness though, is it the kind of workout with which you can really break a sweat? Or is it more of a dance class for your hubbies?
 
And WHY did you think I'd chime in? Actually I am thinking of taking up striptease workouts. G-string and all.....STRICTLY for the health benefits of course! LOL!!

I've seen this on the show called "The View". I also saw this on The Ophrah show with one of the girls from Desperate Housewives was showing the moves that she does in class. I was just telling my mother that this looks fun and it would probally make you feel real sexy.
 
I found this website through a friend referral. I just ordered it and am so excited to try out "new movess"! It's not sleezy, the women don't even get naked. It's about having a good sense of self. Also the ladies in the video are to be of various sizes and ages. I hope the person who told me about it had her facts right. I'll let you know what I think of it! The video clip looked intriguing!

I have the Art of Exotic Dancing. Your friend is correct. I enjoyed it. I have been trying out some bellydancing as well. This is just for fun and to learn new moves.

GREAT! I am so excited to get it! My only worry is DH will see the box delivered before I have a chance to wisk it away into hiding! Some ace cards are meant to be kept in secret ;-)
