Aerobic flooring question

Hi Cathe. I am looking for your input on aerobic flooring. I am currently exercising on a concrete floor. It really doesn't bother me at all, I'm more concerned about long term effects. I have looked into having an aerobic floor installed but I would like to find out if there are other alternatives. Meaning something less expensive that my husband could do himself. Any suggestions you have would be appreciated!

I also have a comment for you: I just received the High Step Training DVD on Monday and I did it last night for the first time and HOLY MACKERAL what a challenge!!!!!!! I LOVE IT. It wasn't pretty, but I got through it and even though I was totally spent at the end, I felt great!!!

Have a great day!

WalMart, CostCo, HomeDepot, Pep Boys all have waffle mats. They are awesome & relatively inexpensive. I think Pep Boys has the least expensive but I think they are also the "thinnest." I got mine at WalMart in the exercise equipment area for about $17 for 4 2ftx2ft mats.

Just an FYI: I ended up ordering mats from DicksSportingGoods.com. 12 12x12 mats for $9.99. I ended up getting 10 boxes (120 mats) because if your order came to $99.00, there was free shipping. It was worth it to get the extra mats then pay the shipping, which would have been $45.00 if not more.

They just piece together like a puzzle and are so versatile. I have more than I need, but depending on what workout I am doing I can make a really large area or a small one.

I highly recommend it. The shipment came in four days also!

Thanks for your input!

Melissa
