Im pretty new to Cathe but not to exercise. I am looking for advise on which dvd's to buy for weight loss and toning. I currently weigh 230 (down from 260 in January). I have been working with a personal trainer(which I had to stop due to financial obligations) and in spite of my weight I have a lot of muscle endurance and cardio endurance but I still need to be careful with my knees for now. Im sorry I rambled but just looking for advise on what dvds I should buy.

Congrats in your weight loss!!!!!

Cathe has WONDERFUL Dvds.... I'm not an expert about weight loss, but my gut feeling tells me that you should do cardio and circuit training....

My favorite Cathe's are:

- Cardio and weights & Imax 2
- Body Max 2
- Step Blast & Step Jump & Pump
- Drill Max
- The Terminator
- For lower Body I really like the Gym Style legs, Legs and glutes and last Butts and gutts...

Have you checked the rotation forum?

You may want to ask there what a good weight loss rotation would be for you!!!

Hi there. Congrats on your weight loss so far! I weigh just over 200 lbs. and even though I can do just about all of her workouts, I find that Cathe's low impact workouts (Low Max, Low Impact Step and Low Impact Circuit) are kindest to my joints. Weight training does not bother my knees at all, but I'm very careful to keep my weight in my heels and my knees behind my toes for all lower body exercises.
 
Thanks for the suggestions....I will check out the rotation forum to see what advise I get there but I am thinking of getting the cardio& weights and the low impact circuit to start and maybe the gym styles. I hope to be able to do all the workouts as I lose more weight!!!
