Advise with workout rotation with what I have

Hi,

I would appreciate some help with workout rotations with what I have.

I would like to build a workout around these three Cathe DVDs KPC, muscle max, leg and glutes (I know it is not much but I am a full-time student so am slowly building my Cathe collection). I would also like to include my elliptical machine if it works.

I would love to get a leaner and well-defined body overall(who wouldn't:)). I am also trying to lose some weight. I am 5-2 and am hovering around 128 pounds. Would like to lose like 7-8 more pounds. I have a very low metabolism so am hoping these workouts will be good for me.

Any suggestions for new DVD buys is also welcome. I am not very good with choreography (I have the low-impact circuit but cannot get the routine) so will like something simple.

Thanks,
Madhu.

Hi Madhu!
Not sure where you live, but do you get FitTV? I live in NY and Cathe is on FitTV 7am, 11am and 7pm Monday through Saturday. I don't own many of her DVD's either, but FitTV is a great way to get in some of her other great workouts!

I've noticed there are a lot of posts about rotations and someone even posted Cathe's rotations from 2003 through present, check them out for some ideas.

Hi Madhura!
I'm sorry, I didn't see this question until just now... when I do the Cathe workouts on FitTV, I usually welcome the commercial breaks to get a breather!! ha ha... If it's cardio, I will always march in place or grapevine, anything to keep my heart rate up. It it's weights, the commercials are pretty good at being worked into the times when she is done with a particular set so I just stretch out and pick back up with the workout when the commerials are over. I know, the only thing that stinks about doing the workouts on TV is that I know I'm missing some segments that are on the DVD, but at least it's better than nothing! I hope your workouts are going well!
