aches and pains anyone??

It seems like every time I get a good rotation going, something happens. I'm currently receiving treatment through a chiropractor and wearing a brace for tennis elbow. On top of that, for some WEIRD reason, the OTHER elbow seems to have a touch of golfer's elbow! COME ON!!!! How dumb is that??? So, I have to lay off the bicep exercises, which are one of my favs. I just hope this clears up before STS. That would REALLY suck.

Last night, I got up off the couch and felt like I was hobbling to the other room. Surely, being 35 shouldn't be causing all this.

Just wanted to vent.

Uh, I am only 41 and just had my hip replaced due to overuse and arthritis, so yeah, exercise is good for ya, but as your body gets older, sometimes things break down easier I guess. Thank goodness for great orthropedic surgeons and new body parts they can install now!:)

Right! I remember you posting about your surgery. How have you been doing since? All better I hope?

It is the best thing I have ever done. No pain, and I can do my workouts with slight modifications, no problems! Plus, I can put on my 4 inch heels again and actually walk in them, something I could not do with arthritis--ahh, life is good.:p

Now its all my other creaky parts!:7

I am 39 with bad knees, hips that bother me at times, elbows, shoulders... mostly it is my knees that get me. I tell my family thanks so much for giving me the worst that everybody had to give :) ... poor joints, asthma, very delicate digestive/etc system. Thankfully, my health is otherwise good - the major stuff works just fine!! Still, when I sleep on one side too long and go to stretch out, OUCH! Or sit too long in the wrong position and nearly fall over when I stand up b/c my knees won't bend without me passing out from pain, OUCH! Every doctor says nothing is wrong... I am getting an appt with a very good rheumatologist soon at the recommendation of my regular doctor, so if I get any tips, I'll pass them on. Meanwhile, YES - aches and pains for moi and I've had the knee thing since I was a teenager so I can say it is not just the 30s that start is all;-)
