Abs

Hey Cathe,
I was hoping you could help me out. I have been working out for a while now, and I can see that my abs are becoming a little bit more defined. However, my lower ab muscle is quite thick, so much so that it protrudes a little if I relax my ab muscles. It looks like I am in early pregnancy! Now, I know that I am just naturally thick, but is there a way that I can make my lower ab more defined and elongated? I am 5'3" (short torso) so I know my height impacts the length of my muscle, but I really would like it to look tighter and longer. Any suggestions? Thanks!
