Hi,

I am new to Cathe and eventually plan to buy all of her DVD's (breathe in/breathe out--did I just say buy all?)...anyway, I have started with Timesaver and Terminator. I was wondering if you have those two DVD's, do you need to buy the whole Body Blast and Intensity series? Is there more to the series than I am getting on those two DVD's?

Also, I have FiTV and am getting ideas about Cathe's different work outs. My question is do they cut out a lot? The commercials are driving me nuts, making me want to buy just so I can avoid the interruptions. I am so happy to have discovered Cathe...she is such an inspiration and a fabulous instructor!

Thanks for any help!;)

Melissa - of course you need them all! We all love helping people spend their money here! Actually both of those are compilations...I know Timesaver has some additional special footage but you will get so much more if you invest in the series. There is a ton more to both series and you will not be sorry if you make the investment. Besides the regular workouts, they all have premixes which give you just and endless amount of variety.

Also, yes there are pieces cut out of the FitTV shows to fit the time slot.

Get out your credit card! :) :) :)

BUY THE WHOLE SERIES. I LOVE THE BODY BLAST AND THE INTENSITY SERIES. I DO NOT HAVE THE DVD WITH SUPERSETS AND THE DVD WITH THE PYRAMIDS BECAUSE I HAVE THE DVD WITH MIS AND PH AND THE DVD WITH ME BUT I LOVE SO MUCH THE INTENSITY SERIES THAT I AM THINKING TO BUY THE PYRAMIDS. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY BUYNG THE TIMESAVER OR THE TERMINATOR BUY THE WHOLE SERIES. IF YOU BUY THIS DVD YOU WILL LOVE THE PIECES YOU SEE AND YOU WILL FINISH BUYING ALL THE DVD. THAT IS WHAT HAPPENED TO ME.

Timesaver and Terminator are only compilation DVD's of the Body Blast and Intensity series. You are getting MUCH more with the entire series than you have on those two DVD's.

Can't help you with FitTV, but I do believe I remember reading on this forum that yes, they do cut out a lot of the workouts.

Plus, the DVD's in Body Blast have premixes and the workout blender, so you have more choices than you'll probably ever use!!

Welcome, get them all (resistance is futile!!), and ENJOY!!

Melissa - of course you need the entire series from which Timesaver and Terminator sprang. Of course you do.

MWAH-HAH-HAH-HAH-HAH!!!!!

But seriously folks, yes you want these series. There's nothing like doing the workouts strictly as produced to get a feel for how productive they are for you. Plus, you can then do your own mish-moshes with the DVD's yourself, which is a time-honored tradition here on the Forums.

No question, you need both complete series. While the Terminator DVD is one of my favorites, I make much more use of the individual workouts. Plus, the Pyramids are not on the Terminator DVD, and you have to get those (life would be incomplete without The Pyramids). I also love the individual workouts on the Body Blast Series. The premixes are great and provide you with unlimited workout options.

Bottom line: you can do without the Timesaver and Terminator, but not wthout the original series these DVDs were cribbed from.

As everyone says: that way you make up your own mish-moshes and individualize your workouts to suit you. You will then have so much more varity an dso many more options.

I have both Terminator and Timsesaver and never use them.

Thanks everyone for your advice. I thank you but my credit card is still cursing you!}( x(

I ordered the Intensity series along with RS/IMAX/MIC and will probably get the Body Blast series along with PH/MIS/BODY MAX later and I think that should probably tide me over. I did preorder Hardcore, so I should have a pretty good library of workouts for a while:) !

I am so in love with these workouts (not while doing them of course):p

Thanks again!
