I watched an infomercial on the P90X program and was just wondering if anyone has done it and if it really works as well as it appears to? I don't plan on replacing Cathe with anything, but just seeming to need to boost things a bit. Also, what's anyones take on The Freestyle Method by George Snyder.
Thanks

If you do a search on this site under P90X, you'll find about 150 threads on it. Lots of people have done it. Most loved it (me included) and a few didn't like it. And yes, it really does work as well as it appears to:)

Well, you asked the right board about P90X! There are tons of posts about it on here! I am on my 2nd round of P90X and LOVE this program. It's well worth it!

Click on my webpage in my signature & shoot me an email, I love it so much I've even become a coach for Million Dollar Body!

Good luck! I haven't tried the Freestyle Method so I don't have any advice there!

forgive me,but i've been doing p90x classic rotation and barrys boot camp more than anything. i still do cathe cardio and lower body. i've also found a p90x/cathe rotation that i havent tried yet.probably 2008

Shelley is absolutely right, it does work:) The only fault I could find is that the cardio is a little weak so I usually supplement with some Cathe cardio or running. I am currently doing round 3 in preparation for P90X plus which should be coming out by the end of the year. Yikes!

Hi!

I just got P90X and I'm on Day 4, and it is SO MUCH FUN (at least, I think so). Challenging in a very different way than Cathe. The DVDs are good quality, and overall I think it seems like a good value - you get 12 workout DVDs for around $150. All of the DVDs are around an hour in length except the Abs workout, which is 16 minutes.

Definitely do a search and read some of the previous posts. Like a lot of the people on these forums, I plan to tweak P90X a little bit here and there - for example, I previewed CardioX and didn't think I'd like it, so I'll probably substitute a cardio workout of my choice. But overall I'm happy with the workouts and I'm really excited about the next 86 days!
