Not at all! I have Delta Dental. It's through my employer. There's a $2000 cap for every year and $50 deductible.

Yes, dental work is expensive and I don't think your price quote is out of line. I do think that dental insurance stinks though!!! I have had 1 root canal and a crown over $2000. Insurance paid half. I learned quickly not to complain because that was "good" coverage!
