Melanie,
Kim's baby had trisomy 18 which is much more serious than trisomy 21, more commonly known as Down Syndrome, which is what our little Malcolm has. You and your baby are in my prayers. I always find a lot of comfort in Psalm 139 during pregnancy.

I pray that the enemy won't steal away your joy during this pregnancy. The odds are overwhelmingly in your favor that your baby boy is just fine. (((hugs)))

Take care
Maggie

Maggie, I received your (((hugs))) and I hope you received the blessings I have sent your way! Immediately I read Psalm 139, it's so refreshing to be referred to Scripture. Thank you! I also try to recite Phil 4:6-7 whenever the enemy tries to steal my joy.

I hope you and your new baby are doing well. It's so nice that you've continued to be with us postpartum. Will you be posting pictures at all? I'd love to see your new bundle.

Melanie,
Yes, I have recieved the blessings you sent my way. My whole pregnancy was bathed in prayer by people in our church and many of you wonderful ladies, which is why I did not have nearly the dread, anxiety and fear that I did last time.

I would love to post pictures, but I am technologically inept and have no idea how:p :p

Maggie

Mel- congratulations on your test results. I haven't been on the board in quite awhile so only saw your post today after you got the good news.

Isn't it funny how it all works out when you put it in God's hands? I also had a false positive for Trisomy 18 with baby #1. They even found markers on the 2nd level u/s and we ended up doing the amnio. Long story short he is perfect today. However, I know I would have loved him the same even if it had of been different.

This pregnancy we opted NOT to take the test. I put it 100% in God's hands and know he will not deliver me more than I can handle and that he will be there with me every single step of the way.

Your story is beautiful and I happy to see God worked his miracles on you and your lil' angel:)

Maggie - your story was also beautiful. It makes me realize that I know I will love my baby no matter what and that God delivers us special angels in unique wrappers sometimes. Thanks for sharing and bringing tears to my eyes. I haven't had my daily preggo sob yet today and you successfully helped me get there ;)

God Bless you all,
Pam
