ab exercises

Hi there! I am starting my 18th week and feeling pretty large. I was wondering about abdominal exercises...what can I do or what should I avoid. I know lying flat is a no-no so could you give me some effective ideas? Thanks. :)

I keep wanting to buy the "Fit to Deliver" book, but it seems like every time I am about to, some other expense comes up in its place. But really, I am just a few weeks away from the second trimester and feel I really better get it ordered to see what else will change for me exercise wise. For example, can one do regular ab work on an Incline or Decline bench?

Wish I had bought an exercise book in lieu of one of those baby name books!

Well, wouldn't you know it --- I just ordered the book yesterday. I ordered the "Exercising through you pregnancy" book by Dr. Clapp, not "Fit to Deliver" based on reviews. But I will definitely keep this web site in mind. Thanks! Gina
