Aaron's PowerKicks...

I've had this video sitting in my workout room for months and finally decided to give it a try. During the workout I was sweating but not working as hard as I do during CardioKicks, but today am I ever feeling the power of the kicks in my backside!! I have the "good pain" feeling in the upper part of my thighs...you know that part we all hate. I didnt have time for the ab section b/c I was late for work, so I cant comment on that. After the kickbox section there was a brief leg toning segment which I think I'll skip from now on, unless I do it with ankle weights. The overall workout time for the warmup and just the kickbox section was about 35 minutes so this will be a great tape to do on my shorter cardio days.

Stacy,

Aaron's Total Energy workout is a little tougher then PowerKicks, and it is about 40 minutes long, without abs work. I find that I get a better leg/hip/lower back workout with his videos. I think it's because there are so many HIGH kicks. Crosstraining is a good thing!

I really like Powerkicks. I used to do it quite a bit but would never quite make it through, those drill exhausted me. I bought that tape before ever doing any Cathe tapes and hadn't done it for about 8 months. I noticed this very thread the other day and decided to do Powerkicks that night. WOW was I surprised at how I blasted through that workout. Don't get me wrong, I got a great workout and I'm still a little sore but I was so much more capable that prior to doing Cathe. Amazing the improvements I've seen. Sandi, I'm with you - those high kicks will do it!

ps - Sandi, where did you get Total Energy? I've been looking for that video forever but can't seem to find it anywhere.
