A Suggestion for those who don't do IMAX 3 because....

it is so super intense. I've really been avoiding this workout whenever it comes up in a rotation because it's just too high impact for me and I feel incompetent from the first combo/blast (my 51 year old knees are not what they used to be) But when it came up on today's rotation (I'm doing July '07), I was determined to do it. I decided to remove my step totally from the workout and just do everything on the floor. I may be a super wimp, but I really enjoyed it for the first time. It was sort of like a bootcamp cardio workout. I really gave it my all and felt that I got so much out of it. I will no longer avoid this workout.
 
I know I can handle Imax 2 without too many modifications...I had a hip replaced last year..but Imax 3 kills my joints. Your suggestion is a good one thanks!
 
Great idea!

I have a huge dread factor on this one, but since I use my rebounder for the intervals I am a happy camper!
 
That's a great suggestion. I'll do the same for this 57 year old body when I get to it again.

What a great idea, thanks!! I fear this workout but maybe now it can be doable. I do love the music and choreography, just too much high impact. I am gonna try it!:)
 
Wow that is great advice. I find it super super hard too and don't do it as often as I would like. I'm going to give it a whirl.
