a quick introduction

I've been following the Fit Moms Pregnancy board a lot more since becoming pregnant 19 weeks ago. I was reluctant to speak freely about my pregnancy since I was feeling better than ever! There seemed to be a few women who were very nauseous and missing workouts because of it. I felt I'd come on here a look as if I was "bragging".
I liked Melanie's recently reply to a post, saying, "we need some new blood…". So, here I am!
I followed Cathe's August rotation. I do a daily check in over at the Open Discussion board under Hardcore Check-In, however, will join you on your check ins as well.

This will be my second child. The EDD is 2/10.

Cool Susan--welcome--and I don't think it comes across as bragging.:) What a blessing that you are feeling so good. I was pretty wiped out for the first trimester this time, but the last 2 babies before were not so bad. (I've always been sicker with girls than with boys).

I look forward to you posting with us. I'm due in January and there are not many women "behind" me, so I look forward to "new blood" as well. I think that most of the ladies will have their babies by the fall. We need more winter and spring mommies.

Maggie:)

I don't post here often, as I've been a deadbeat for the last three months. Finally in Week 12, I'm starting to feel like "me" again.

So, I don't know if it's appropriate for me to welcome you to a board where no one knows me, but I will anyway!!

How fortunate you are to have felt so fabulous your entire pregnancy! I am in awe that you did the Boot Camp rotation!! I'm excited to start working out again -- I'll keep your story in mind as motivation :)

Welcome and congratulations on the baby!!

I would not take it as bragging. I know I am just being lazy :) I was sick for about 6 weeks but ever since have not worked out for the simple fact that I do not want to. I do find myself much more tired than usual when I get home from work but I know I could do something if I put my mind to it. But this is our first and we are enjoying all of the nesting and planning. I can work out when it is over!

Kudos to you and all of the others that still workout. I know that even if I did work out, it would not be a Cathe rotation! I can hardly do that when not pregnant :)

Welcome and I'm new to the check-in to. I'm impressed you have been feeling so well and that you completed the boot camp rotation.

Hello Susan C.M., PennStater, and Tuvak1!

I look forward to reading your posts in the checkin. There have been many days where all I wanted to do was take a nap instead of work out, but reading others' weekly workout posts gets me motivated.

I'm about 27 weeks along. My workouts have gone from "normal" to slogging through 10 weeks of morning sickness to creatively modifying everything to low impact so muscles I didn't know I had don't ache afterwards.

Susan,

Welcome and Congratulations! That is wonderful that you are feeling great. Wishing you the best,
