A kettlebell bummer!

I can't believe it! I ordered a set of 3 Ader kettlebells for x-mas, and one of them (the 25-pounder) has a large chip in the finish. To make matters worse, the chip is on the part of the handle used to grip the kettlebell! Talk about bad placement. Anyway, I've been e-mailing the vendor about how to return it (without having to pay for shipping, which would be $$!), and I haven't heard back. It's been four days now! That kettlebell was not cheap!!

Anyway, just had to get that off of my chest. I feel slightly better now.

Have a great weekend,

Deborah

I bought some KBs locally and they had some chips. I was told that they ship them very carelessly b/c they are hunks of medal and the hardcore stuff. If I wanted to cover the chip, I could paint it and he suggested painting it some wacky color. As long as the chip is in the paint only, I would let it go...I know it isn't easy to do that but chances are, most have chips. I was only ok with my purchase b/c I saw the chips and made the decision to buy them that way. I would be upset too if I were you, don't get me wrong. It may just be easier to personalize the KB though :D

That stinks! My kbs do not have chips, I have 2 of them. I guess I would not care if the chip was in the ball part, but on the handle, that's no good! Is there a phone number to call?
