A-Jock's Famous Track Workout for the Unrunner

No one's sharing their mixes..... here's what I have planned:

1. side to side slalom
2. high knee runs w/ legs wide
3. airborne jacks
4. burpees
5. bounding jumps forward & turn
6. football runs with boxer's flurry
7. tricep dips with one leg elevated
8. in-out jacking feet pushups (not quite what you called 'em)

Ajock, do you ever visit bodyrock.tv? I've been doing her workouts (and tweaking them) and it really is fun to create this stuff and mix and match. There's a checkin group over at vf forum where one gal makes longer workouts by mixing in kettlebell exercises.

Hi, Bitmover! No, I've never visited bodyrock.tv, although I've heard of it. I'm actually getting far more into designing my own land workouts just from my own bald head from the library of moves our dear Cathe has supplied me with that I don't have much time anymore to check out anyone else's productions. I am patiently waiting for Cathe to announce her next series (ahem - cathe, are you listening?!), as well as Shaun T's release of INSANITY ASYLUM (which is still in preproduction) and Amy's release of Hi/Lo Dynamic (already filmed). If I indulged in ALL of the productions out there, I'd have to quit my day job.

SOOOO glad you're enjoying the new format! I'm teed up for another Famous Track Workout tomorrow after work - Challenge Laps, here I come!

Ok, that was a perfect workout for today! I have an ex-horse arena turned into roller hockey rink at my house, and there's a track around it -- so, it's a small-scale track. I ran one or two laps in between the blasts. The whole thing took me about 20 minutes, and since I'd already done a workout this morning, that was just perfect! Thanks again for the inspiration. Good luck with your not-so-patient waiting for new Shaun and Cathe! ;)
