Has anyone ever done an 8 day rotation? What are the pros and cons? I am considering doing an 8 day rotation so that I don't have to double up workouts in one day and I can add a circuit workout as a finisher. I was going to do the rotation 4 times (a bit over 4 weeks) and then take another week and give my muscles a break and do only short(maybe 30 minutes) cardio workouts and yoga. I might include the odd Kickbox workout as well.
Any thoughts?
Here is an example
Day 1 Chest & Triceps
Day 2 Cardio + Abs
Day 3 Shoulders, Back & Biceps
Day 4 Cardio + Abs
Day 5 Legs
Day 6 Cardio + Abs
Day 7 Circuit
Day 8 Off
Cardio cycles through Step Workouts or 50 minute Run or Interval Workouts or 50 minute Run so one week I run once and one week I run twice
The week break would look like this
Day 1 Express Cardio and Yoga
Day 2 4 day split cardio and Yoga
Day 3 30 minute run and yoga
Day 4 Kickbox
Day 5 Express Cardio and Yoga
Day 6 4 day Split Cardio and Yoga
Day 7 30 minute run and yoga
Day 8 Off
I would love any feedback you might have!!!
