I guess I get the honors of starting us off.
I just wanted to pop in before I am off to work and Say GOOOOOOOD Mornin'!

I did disc 3 this morning and it was tough. I am getting pretty tired and finally TTOTM came today so that added to the strain but I powered through it and that my fitness friends makes me feel like I just climbed a mountain! I am not exaggerating...That is how pooped I am.

I am going to have to keep my eye out and see where Cathe is going to come for Texas. I kind of hope it is San Antonio or Austin because I hate Dallas even though it is closer there are so many more things I like to do in the other places. More outdoorsy<---Not a word I know!

I hope everyone is having a good fitness day...Wish me luck getting through my day on a job site full of men that are just going to irritate me today!:D:p;):eek:

Oh, Chrissy and I forgot to tell you guys this about the RT. Tracy (THartman), who started checking in with us at the beginning of our 6 month rotation? Well, she broke her foot during the Friday night step class. She fell and hurt herself pretty badly. She stayed for the rest of the weekend, though, and ended up having a pretty good time with her friends.

OK.....I slept till 9AM this morning! The RT caught up with me last night. Then my mom stopped by to discuss the Cousins Reunion I'm hosting this Saturday and she just left. So I am headed to the basement to run a few miles, do the GS Chest push ups and core from the original Boot Camp. Then it's time to cut the YUCKY grass!

Disk 3 for me as well. It was great! I wonder how sore I'm going to be... I was in such pain last time I did it!

Jo, thanks for the info, I found out that they stopped sending me emails so now I signed up again and should be getting any new info. July 30 is a good date as far as I can tell, but I know you will wait to finalize any plans until you know if there's one in Seattle. Fun, fun, fun!

Did disk 3 this morning. I forgot how quickly these workouts move; only 30 secs btw exercise; after wards I pretty much plopped on the floor bc I was shaking all over; child's pose never felt soooo good.
Rachel, I could go for Cathe in San Antonio or Austin; I'm in S.A. Here's wishing you good luck at work today.

Hi guys. Please forgive me for making this post again all about me. I just finished my workout and need to log it for accountability, then I need to get to the yard PRONTO! I just finished....I did 4 miles using a Cardio Coach workout, the GS Chest push ups (all on my toes, woo hoo), and the original Boot Camp core work. All sweaty, so I may as well just stick on a ball cap and cut the yard, right? RIGHT!

Gayle, good job on your workout & the push ups on your toes - ^5. Then yard work to boot. Great job! There's no grass to cut here; no water = no green grass.
 
Was Disc 3 this hard the first time? How about the 2nd time? Because it was definitely HARD today! LOL!

Rachel, I'm with ya...I climbed a couple of mountains! Scheesch! I couldn't believe how I struggled today with that workout! It could also have been because I'm used to those longer breaks...I dunno, but I'm feeling it already! You show those men who's boss! I know you're up to it! :eek:

Gayle, OMG, poor Tracy! And, once again you are my pushup hero! You amaze me with your feats of strength - I aspire to be like you! All in a days work huh? :D

Cendrine, I told DH we're going to SD next July (he'll want to come too!) if Seattle isn't a go. So you're going to have sore legs and buttola too! :p Well, it's good to know we're all in the same boat!

Measuredoak, another butt aching girl to add to our bunch! Again, we're all in this together! I laughed about your shaking all over...uh...so was I! ;)

Okay, since I screwed up and did disc 19, I'll have to do disc 21 tomorrow instead of Disc 2 since I already worked my tris. I'll talk to you all later.
 
Looky here I am home at 4:30...but it has come with a hefty price tag.
We went to load up materials today at the shop we work out of and when we go there they begged us to go put a sport floor down in an elevator. We thought it would not take too long and went ahead and loaded for the other job too and headed for a little town called Van. Well when we got there we saw the 'catch'. It was an elevator for a press box at the high school stadium and it was locked at the top so electricians could work in the bottom. So guess what I was doing for half the day today after doing disc 3 this morning....CLIMBING BLEACHERS in the hot Texas sun. And doing an elevator with no air. Most days I would look at this as an extra chance to get in a workout I don't normally do but I was pooped today and TTOTM came so I am sure you can imagine how much fun that was! My legs are like lead but that means I did burn some extra calories today so if I do have a binge anytime this week it might not hurt so bad-Don't worry I am not planning one!

Gayle-You sure are busy. You just got back from the RT and now you are hosting a reunion. It sounds fun though. A cousins reunion, I mean!

Jo- I forgot to comment on your comment about me being a good planner. I think it looks that way because when I really get to post normally here lately I am in my procrastinated planning stage. I put off planning what I am going to make until the day before and then I have to make a list and do all the shopping last minute. I think I could get better at this but it seems like when we are working a regular schedule and I have more time I get even worse. I am such a procrastinator when it comes to my meal planning. I promise!

Cendrine- When are you starting your Home schooling. Are you going to start when regular school starts.I had a heck of a time with disc 3 this morning but like I said before I think I am just a little low on energy this week. I am going to do IMAX2 for the 50 min interval run...I think that is thurs. Are you doing the runs or subbing in something else.

Measured-I love San Antonio. Everytime I have went though I am normally going to Schlitterban though so we go there in the evening to eat and just do the touristy thing. I would like to go and see more than just the river walk and the alamo.

OK guys I think I am going to go and do some much needed sitting and relaxing.

Rachel, sorry about your workout workday! Boy, I would plan on a nice substantial dinner for tonight if I were you! You deserve it! and then a movie and lots of rest!

To answer your question about homeschooling, I have been prepping things to get started for real in the first week of September. We've been doing some work every day (like journaling, reading and some math) because that's what they say the kids should continue to do through out the summer, and I know from experience that that's a good idea. When I used to go all summer not doing anything (math in particular) I remembered nothing and felt like I needed a few weeks to jumpstart where I left off ....
But real school with an acutal lesson plan and all will start in September, so we still get to play a lot this month, which is fun.
As far as the June rotation goes, I am doing the runs as scheduled by Cathe, since I can do the runs, (we wanted to get rid of our treadmill a while back but noone wanted to buy it and then I got hooked on Cardio Coach and it's nice to have a cardio alternative for every once in a while. By the way, I am already sore in my legs from this morning's workout, only nine hours later... Oh joy, come tomorrow!
 
Goodness, I forgot how much work, work was:D I'm watching the clock wondering if I can go to bed yet.LOL (it's only 7:45). I'm sure not used to getting up at 6 am and working all day. Dh and the kids are off this week so it was hard to get up when they were all still sleeping. I did come home and do my CLX workout right after work and nothing productive since.

Rachael, your work day just made me exhausted reading about it;) I'm sure you will sleep well tonight.
