Man it was real slow here yesterday huh.
We were real busy at work.
I just wanted to let yall know I got MM and ME and Step Blast on the way. They will be here the 30th. I can not waith to start the rotation with you gals. I have not had a chance to really look over it closely but it looks like on the first week the weight days are the first three days and then a mix of stuff after that. Interesting. If that is the case I have never done my workouts like that so I will be very curious to see how that turns out. The only other thing is where the off days fall. Mine are always on Sunday. I am torn if I will follow how she has them fall or if I will leave them on Sunday. I am figuring that she puts them there for a reason but I thought maybe she just might move them around to keep it changed up. What do yall think? The only problem I have about keeping sunday as my rest day is that I do not have to get up early. If I am going to work out that day I like to get up and get on with it. So let me know if you think it will hurt to keep my rest days the same.

Got to go put my nose to the grind stone....what little nose I have left.

Have a happy and healthy day to everyone!!!!!!

Hi, Rachel. YES...it was quite slow here yesterday! On that rotation, I'm sure you can change the rest days to whatever works for YOU. Even if you have to move things around within the week. When I get back from RT, I will have to REALLY look at that rotation and see if it's doable with my training runs. When I get back, that will be about 5 weeks out from my half marathon and that's the time when my long runs will be UP there around 12-13 and then a 1-2 week taper of less mileage, so it's possible I may not be able to make it work. We'll see....I'll worry about that next week! ;)

Workout just got done: iTread Livestrong Indoor Marathon training, 60 minutes and I logged over 6.25 miles. Then I did the abs and stretch from KP&C. I feel AWESOME!

BBL.....got some last minute things to do today so that I don't have to do ANY of them tomorrow before I leave.

Hi Guys,

I skipped my workout today... I guess I needed a break...

Rachel, I will have Sundays as rest days as well, so we can be doing the same thing if you decide you want to keep your Sundays off.

Gayle, as always, awesome job on your workouts! You must be getting excited about going to the RT! take lots of pictures for us, ok? What are your kids doing while you are at the RT?

Hi everyone else!

Hi everyone.

I did my insanity workout this morning. Man they are tough. What is good about them is there is no equipment so I think I maybe bringing them on vacation with me. We are going to myrtle beach on aug 12. I just don't know how the people on the floor below will like it too much.:p:eek:.

Rachel- I agree with Gayle. Make it work for you. I did that with STS and I am doing it with Insanity.

Gayle-I wish I was leaving tomorrow too. I am very excited. 7 workouts in 48 hours. woo hoo-Bring it on CATHE!!!

I also wish all of you were going. I will definitely be taking pictures. I actually have a good camera this year.... and I actually know people going. Last year I knew noone. I am doing the happy dance all week.

Are you guys doing the june rotation? When are you starting that?

Hi Cendrine, Mary, Kim, Jo, measuredoak.

Hi everyone,
Sorry I've been out of the loop since last week. Work has been very busy & I was having a difficult time. I did manage to finish STS. WooHoo - although I did skip the last plyo workout. I'm perimenopausal & TOM lasted 2 wks this month w/the last week draining all my energy w/the heavy flow (sorry if TMI). It took all I had to get thru the last wk of STS; I cut back drastically on my cardio days bc I just didn't have it in my. I'd push myself to start the workout only to quit 30 min out due to exhaustion. Saturday I was scheduled to walk 10 miles but lasted only 6 & even that was a struggle. I'm so glad to have a recovery week. I started it yesterday with yoga which felt great & today I did much better w/cardio. I think I will keep things fairly light this week in anticipation of starting a the new rotation next wk.
Cendrine, I understand completely about needing a break. I probably should have done that last wk but was so anxious to finish STS.
All those going on the RT, have a great time. It sounds like it will be a lot of fun. Yes take lots of pictures. I loved flipping thru the photo gallery from last yrs RT.
Well I better get back to work.
Have a great afternoon/evening everyone.

Hi Everyone!!! Well, I'll have to go back through the posts to get caught up but I'll quickly give you my recap!

I HAVE NOT WORKED OUT!!!! Can you believe it???

My GF was here and we were so busy everyday that I had no time!

So last week, I picked her up at the airport Wednesday night and we stayed up late talking. Thursday, we shopped til we dropped! Friday, I took her to downtown Seattle where we met up with a couple of other girlfriends, and then I took her to all the famous Seattle tourist places: Pike Place Market (where they throw fish), the Space Needle, etc. Then Saturday we all (DH and SS also) went to Mt Rainier and hiked. Sunday, DH and I took her for on a ferry ride to Port Townsend (on the Peninsula) for artsy shopping etc. (it's an old port). Then yesterday and today I had to go to work for a little bit, we did some more shopping and then I took her to the airport. Now it is 100 degrees here and we don't have air conditioning so there is no way I can workout! Our room cooled down to 88 last night! (That's with a fan!) We had great weather the whole time she was here!

Anyway, I've missed you all! Gayle and Chrissy you must be getting psyched for the RT! Wish we were ALL going!

I'll go back through the posts later. Hello Cendrine, Kim, Measuredoak, Gayle, Chrissy, Rachel, and Mary (did you come back?)

I'll talk to you all later!!!
