My computer got a virus. I had to send it out for repair and just got it back a short while ago.

I hadn't realized how frustrating it was to not have a computer.

Good Morning, Y'All!

Sorry I have been absent, but it has been very busy around here these past few days. I guess it has just been that time of the year.

Was too tired to workout on Monday, and yesterday our choir had a "gig" at the church all day. Lunch provided, but I was pretty good and did not go back for seconds. Hopefully, the two cookies I ate did not blow it for me. I am sure I am not losing weight, but hopefully not gaining.

I think I would like to try Weight Watchers. I have been doing my research, and it seems to be the most sensible of all the plans. I just haven't gotten around to actually signing up, but may do that today.

Today's workout is going to be cleaning my laundry room out. That should take most of the day, anyhow.

Have a great day!

Magnolia I think any of the diets work. You just need to find the one you can stick with.

I went in for testing yesterday and I need to have gallbladder removed. One of the meals I eat a lot of is oatmeal with pumpkin in it. I use at least a t. of cinnamon in it. I'm not supposed to eat spicey food. Does this count?

Fried food, fatty food, citrus and high acid food, dairy, caffeine and spicey food I am to avoid. I had wanted the surgery before we go to Disney World but I don't think there is enough time.

Hi, Y'All!

Joan, that is certainly true. It's just that this time I would like to try something that doesn't have crazy phases, but really teaches you how to eat properly without much fuss.

I haven't been feeling too well lately. Tired all the time and want to eat everything in sight. I wonder if I haven't bitten off more than I can chew workout-wise, and thinking about backing off a little bit. Think I am going to give that a try.

Today I did an oldie--FitPrime Metaboost (Anna Benson). It has a lot of built in stretching, in addition to the weight work and cardio.

Have a great day!

Hi Magnolia and Joan!! I was afraid by the time I got back to post you all would have moved on. I am home now for a while. I hope. There is not much to do with DH's mom's house that they can do with out me flying out to California. So I am going to try to get my life back in order.

We are having a yard sale this weekend -- yes this weekend. I am scrambling around trying to find things I've "put away":p I have so much junk.

Anyway yesterday I started back with CLX - push circuit 1. I am staying with this program. I feel like I get a good solid workouts and it only takes 30 minutes. Today is cardio -- I've been running up and down stairs -- I am counting that!! I managed to put on 4 pounds in the last month from eating out and eating WAY to much bread. I love the bread in California, it really does taste better. ;)

Joan I had my gallbladder out a while back. I think your oatmeal is fine. It's the other stuff you listed you should try to avoid. Are you have surgery or
Laparoscopic?

Magnolia YOU GO GIRL!! You are staying strong. :D At our age, just doing the best we can.

Hi, Y'All!

Meant to post earlier today, but time got away.

My workout today was Housework Max, our old favorite. It looks as if I am going to be doing that one a lot. I have gotten behind on my spring cleaning, and DS and Grandson will be coming to spend 10 days with us very soon.

Hope you are all doing well today.

Have a great evening.

Magnolia

Push circuit 2 done today! Shoulders are feeling that one!:D

I am going to have to do that Housemax starting Monday!! I have made a mess finding my hiding places for yard sale stuff... Arranged for anything that doesn't sell to have a donation truck rolling by on Sunday!

Hello ladies!

I have been taking these business classes at night and now I am overloaded with internet communications. The new trend is to have classmates comunicate through blackboard forums on all different discussion issues. I think that it was enough to make me back off this forum for awhile-- but I miss your guys!

I did TRX killer class this morning. Yesterday, I did spinning and power pump at the gym. I haven't been that good at working out at home lately. But I am excited about the new videos.

Jann- I just looked at your Reggie pics on FB. What a sweetie. I bet having a puppy takes up extra time too.

Magnolia- House Max is good too. Especially in the Spring! I have been chipping away at it but I admit without a deadline- I'd rather be at the gym. Knowing you have compnay coming is certainly a good deadline!

Joan- I am sorry about your gall bladder! Haveyou seen the17 day diet? It sounds like a fad but it really isn't. It is just healthy eating but figured out so that you go some time with less carbs and then add them back in. No portion restrictions though. I have lost another 4 pound by following it. It is probably similar to SouthBeach.

Have a good Saturday everyone!

I haven't seen the 17 day diet.

We went to a charity trivia night. I found out I know next to nothing, at least about trivia. It did raise over $52,000 for St Jude Children's hospital.

All day was spent doing yardmax.
