Just finished Double Pyramid Wave from Cathes January rotation. I ama day behind but I will change it around loater this week. Short but effective!

Hope everyone is well out there! I have not weighed and now I will wait until morning because I never like how it looks in the middle of the day!

I did Emily's new Firm workout today then added some free weights then did 115 swings with my 15 kettlebell... A little of everything. Managed to burn 400 calories!! :D:D
 
Way to go Jann!:D I got my polar watch fixed so I now can see my calorie count. I just keep forgetting to put it on! Well, late start but I am going to see what is on for today. By kettlebell swings, do you mean just swing the kettleball?

Where is everyone else?

We're on our way back to our house. Just spending the night in Silver Spring, MD.

Way to go, Beth & Jann!! I have not weighed, and I am afraid to!! But I have a plan, and I'm sticking to it this time. DH really needs to lose some weight and get healthier as well. He scared me in a restaurant night before last, and he knows he needs to do something before he gets sick. We always do well when we're together and support each other.

Welcome back Magnolia! A plan is always good- (following it is hard) Is your DH ok?

My plan is the January rotation and then at night I am going with my DH to an exercise class at our gym- So today- instead of the 40 steady run I did a 40 min spin and abs. Tonight I went to a boot camp with Dh. It is his fault I ate too much over the holidays as he brings home the sweets!:D

Yes Beth. I got a 15 pound kettlebell (Bob Harpers) for Christmas. I joined a swing challenge in January. Nothing like the other gals are doing I am trying to do 100+ swings a day with a 15 pound bell, they are doing 300+ a day with much heavier weights. I am a beginner. I can not believe how quickly my heart rate goes up when doing this. I do believe it is helping my core and butt also!!! An added extra!! :D:D

Oh Magnolia you are just down the road from me!! It is so wonderful that your husband understands and joins you in your fitness quests. That has to make it so much easier!

Off to do some cardio today and my swings! I don't have a rotation put together so I put my cardio DVD's in a pile and do the one on top. It's working. :eek: I think it's another firm one today. :cool:
 
I'm back.

Scale was mean to me today so official weigh in is Monday. It was a lot colder than normal. I didn't get as much walking in as I had hoped.

Still undecided on what I will do today for wo. Have to get dh and dm prescriptions and have a fraxel laser session this afternoon.

Jann, maybe some day we can meet up somewhere when dh and I come through. That would be nice.

Beth, it's great that you & your dh are supporting each other in your fitness plans.

No w/o yet. I have to double up now if I am going to stick with the plan.:(

Joan- a friend of mine just had the fraxel and co2 combined--she couldn't leave the house for a week. Was your like that? Are you getting good results?

Jann- I like your rotation stack idea! Very scientific!

Magnolia- I bet you are glad to be home. I always look forward to my own house after being away!
 
I would say my wrinkles are half as deep as they were and my brown spots are almost all gone. This session was at a higher setting (and hurt more) and I think will get more of the wrinkles. I have been happy with results but it is supposed to continue to make collagen for a year. I at least can wear makeup. It was hard to get something that would both cover the brown spots and not be so heavy that it didn't make wrinkles look worse. When I grin you no longer see any wrinkles. A big old smile and you do see wrinkles but again not near as deep.

It hurts during procedure and for 1/2 hour after. At least it does for me. Today face is red and swollen and starting to peel. I'm supposed to stay out of the sun for a week. AND always wear sunscreen. Since it is so cloudy and nasty here it's not a problem.:p I'll go out to eat tonight and just look like a bad sunburn.

Well, I substituted High Reps for STS total today- Cathes January rotation is starting to look different with all my changes:D But it was efficient!

Oh Joan - I didn't see you until after I hit enter-- That is great results! My friends didn't have brown spots but she did have acne scarring. I use bare minerals for concealer- It works great! How many more sessions do you have?

I am convinced that there is no bed on earth more comfortable than your own.

I also use bare minerals. I like it, too.

Today was my jet lag day, but tomorrow I am starting back with something. My goal initially is just to get moving again and get back into the workout habit. We'll see what I come up with.

Hey I use bare minerals too! The BE outlet just moved in about 20 minutes from here - that has not been a good thing!! :eek::D
It carries a lot of the QVC kits that didn't sell or they only have a couple hundred left so they bring them to the outlet to sell. I've found some bargains there!! It also has some of the regular boutique items as well, not discounted. :(


Beth - :D , right!

Next workout on the pile today is dvd7 from CLX. I am picking Fat burn challenge from it to do today.
