Magnolia I think it's great you can even do some of Hiit 30/30. It's too much for me.

Beth the only reason ds can wo with me is because he has taken a month off work because of his depression. He thinks he feels 50% better.

I've been mia because I started babysitting again on Wednesday. Hopefully I will get organized so I can get everthing done.

Jann I don't have the "normal" symptoms of Crohn's but I wonder if my horrible boughts of exhaustion may be part of it. Although it just seems to be in the summer months. I can't wait until September.

Good morning ladies. My goal this week is to try to post more. :)

Magnolia I love 30/30 it is one of my favorites. I actually made a workout blender mix of it repeating some of my favorite exercises and leaving out ones I don't like and/or can't do. :D

Joan, It seems I have so many symptoms and nothing fits. :(

Jann I think going to the teaching hospital in downtown St Louis made me much more confident. We have 2 hospitals in St Charles but the St louis one just has more experience in major problems. A few years ago my mother's problem was that she had 2 things wrong. An ulcer and bad gallbladder. That really confuses the doctors because they try to make it only one thing wrong. Keep plugging away, I'm sure they will eventually find out what's wrong.

Jann, I do love HiiT 30/30, but sometimes it scares me. It would be nice to make a workout between that and the low impact HiiT chapter on the Intensity dvd. Hmmmmm!

Beth, hope things are better with you.

I just did Disc 19. I am really enjoying these workouts. My left shoulder drives me crazy, but sometimes after the shoulder work, it actually feels better for a day or two. I just ice and take Advil, and am going to start taking krill oil, because I heard it can help with joint problems.

I'm off to the dentist in 2 minutes but wanted to check in before babysitting. Too often after I'm just too tired. Just a cleaning but didn't get all appts in earlier in the summer.

Luke is now walking. Of course at 16 months he should be but we thought he might never walk.:)

Jann, that is so sweet of you, but I couldn't put you to that trouble. I do appreciate it, though.

Just finished Disc 20. I think I am pretty well toasted! :eek: My back got tricky on me during the during the second set of one leg sit & slide with paper plate, so I gave it a good stretch and I'm icing it right now. I am sure it will be fine, just need to take care of it.

Aughhhhh! Still no workout for me. I feel so fat!!

Jann did you get your tests done? Also, are you the workout blender to mix workouts? I never could figure it out.

Joan- my son is going to be staying with us for awhile and not going back to school right away. Maybe I can re riot him as my coach as well!

HI all -- I go for my vascular study tomorrow. This is the last of the heart tests I have scheduled.

Beth - Yes, using the workout blender I can create workouts using parts of different workouts then burn them to a dvd.
I am right there with ya Beth!! My jeans are fitting very snug! :mad:

Jann. Is it time consuming to mix your own? I tried when it first came out but it seemed like it took too long. Maybe the bugs weren't worked out yet.

I'm up early this morning and planning one of the full body wo. Maybe hi reps...
 
Beth - it's pretty easy to use. The biggest problem is we have to select break points where snm have them. So that means sometimes you may not get starts and stops where you would like. The bugs are pretty much worked out.
 
I've never erased the old wo blender and downloaded the new. I know that one didn't work.

I ordered the new wo's too. I hope they live up to what I want them to be.

I think I need FA instead of AA. I need a sponsor to call when I start to overeat. Who am I kidding I'd wait until AFTER I ate it. Tonight I made rice pudding ( 10 servings). My dh probably ate 1 or 2 servings and I ate the rest. I didn't eat anything else for supper but I am stuffed.

Hi, Y'All!

I experienced a little back pain during the leg workout on Tuesday, so I took yesterday and today off. It was not a lot of pain, but it was there just the same. I have been stretching, icing and taking Advil and there is no pain today, but I just want to be careful.

Ladies, before long you'll be back into it and you'll all feel great. Just get past the first one! :eek:

Jann, how did your test go?

I did Disc 21 today and added the extended stretch. I'm icing my back right now, and it seems fine. Actually, my chiropractor told me that stretching every day is important. That extended stretch is really nice. I haven't been using it very much, but I think I'll start making it a regular part of my STS workouts.

Hi! The gal told me it would take a few days for the doc to get back to me on the results. She didn't say anything. :)

I didn't workout again this week. ugh ugh ugh!!
I did do yard work and worked up a good sweat nearly everyday. :rolleyes:
 
STS total body is good! It hits everything when you've been like me and haven't been consistent with the full program.

Magnolia- it's funny how such a simple concept such as regular stretching can go overlooked. I have been stretching much more since I got that Pilates reformer and it has over time made a big difference.

Jann- they are trained not to say anything. Don't worry!! Your yard looks great!

I'm hoping on my spin bike with my playlist. I went to go to a class this am but DH had me blocked in and if you doing get to these classes an hour early you don't get in. I'll be interested in Cathes news in tape

Beth what kind of spin bike to you have? I have a regular exercise bike, I may need an upgrade. :p Thanks about my yard. It's my canvas. I get so excited when someone walks into my yard and says nice things. It's almost as good as when someone says something nice about my off spring. :D
