50 and Over- *Thursday*

Good Morning !

Today was lower body with Pyramid Lower ( up only pre-mix). I only did the standing portion of this workout. Not really a fan of floor work.

I see the Blog is updated with the Higher Intensity Step workout. I'm glad she said you can modify this as it sounds very high impact. I wish she would go into as much detail with the weight part as she does with the step!x( I like that the weight section is around 25 minutes and it gets 2 body parts! This will work into a great rotation.

Finally fixed my e-mail problem.. it appears that the "Medic" softwear that was downloaded with the new e-mail server softwear was interfering with Nordic softwear! I just uninstalled it and everything is working great now. What frustration!

Jen: Hope your dentist apt went well! ( DH is a dentist and they can easily get a complex because no one wants to see them!)

Cathy: How do you do that high impact!! Don't you have creaky knees and low back problems like most of us?}( LOL! You are so lucky!

Deb: Good job on your weight loss.

My knees, feet, and back cannot take high impact. I modify and focus on doing high intensity. I still get a great workout and hopefully avoid pain and injuries. Try really bending your knees and making large arm movements. Take longer steps. When you jump, focus on jumping high and not traveling. I wish Cathe would consider putting in a modifier. I think it would widen her audience....

Did Cardio Fusion all step premix. DH is off today so we are going downtown into DC to see the National Portrait and American Art Museum. It was redone and we have not yet seen it since it re-opened last year. Then we will do lunch and find some other part of the Smithsonian to explore. We are going to act like it is a minivacation and pretend to be tourists.

Going to the dentist for check-up next week. "I can hardly wait."
