I'm now on my way upstairs to workout, but of course had to do a quick after-lunch checkin with my favorite site and found your post. Give me an F for grammar, kiddo -- that wasn't one long hill, it was a friend who lives up the street from me with whom I did a long and hilly walk through our neighborhood and an adjacent subdivision. :)

I'm glad you reminded me about dehydration -- I will go drink an extra 12 - 24 oz. before I workout. Funny that I'm not really thirsty today, since, now that you mention it, I had virtually no fluid yesterday!

I will report in later on my workout (and change "3" to "4" in my tag below :)).

Thank you Wendy and Sandra for the advice! I will definately DISCLUDE my leg work tonight!

Sandra---I have been actively exercising (Firmie) for over 2 years now so my body was used to the activity prior to becoming pregnant BUT I didn't discover Cathe/step until I was already expecting. The Gazelle is also a very new addition to my routine as I just received it for Christmas...but since it is no impact I think that will be a great tool for me down the line if other forms of exercise become to much for me. Thanks for the kind words by the way-you made my day! :) My dedication to exercise has actually INCREASED since finding out I am pregnant! I want to have a healthy pregnancy with minimal excess weight gain. I must admit that finding Cathe has also given me new motivation as well! Anyway, I will take your advice and give my legs a break. Maybe I'll do the basic step and then something relaxing to stretch out a bit and give my poor legs a rest.

Ciao tutti!

As if my legs weren't fried from KPC yesterday, today was L&G. Oh my am I sore. When I woke up this morning, even my arms were feeling the effects from KPC. Funny, while I was doing it yesterday, it didn't seem to be overly taxing, but by last nite my legs and arms were screaming....

I still enjoyed L&G today...love the music in that workout.

I did Muscle Endurance this morning. The time really flew. I still struggle with ME, but it is getting easier. I do not use as much weight as Cathe, especially for the biceps. But it feels good to complete a set. I feel myself getting stronger, but is so terrified of getting & doing Hardcore. I am a beginner/intermediate, trying my best to make my goal working out 6 days a week. I plan on my rest day to do Pilates. When I was doing pilates, I noticed the fat on my stomach disappearing. Coming to this site each day is very motivational, seeing so many women & men benefitting from Cathe's workout and inspiring attitude.
 
LOL! Sandra I recently had to clean some "cat presents" and I can tell you......nope, that sort of thing just doesn't seem to go away no matter how long you ignore it!!

By the way, yes the instructor always does ab work at the end of the class but the problem is after doing "Cathe style" abs, I generally need more ab work in order to really feel the "burn"!! However there are days that I say I'm doing abs after the gym and then by the time I get home I lose the zip:( Hopefully that won't happen tonight:D
 
Good job girls! i just got home and i am about to go workout, but b/c i am addicted to this forum, i had to see what all of you were up to first.

sandra......gross! at least you didn't step in it. pj hurled the other day and i steped in it while cleaning it up!!! bella came blazing around the corner in one of her "chase me " fits and ran in to my leg, which in turn displaced my foot into the vomit. barefoot. i wasn't going to ever mention that, but you brought it up, so feel lucky.

Sandy, glad to have your pc back in working order. very benevolent of you to donate and that is awesome that your company is matching. Good for you. extra abs? maniac! why are you lauging at me today? i hope you are referring to my post and not my email!!!!

ok, i just finished SB and BC upper body premix. i'm gonna sleep good tonight! and Carole...guess what i am getting tomorrow....a one hour massage in my home! it was a xmas gift from my dad. i can't wait!

Jes, lol, no I wasn't referring to your email(I'll respond to that one in a bit!!), it was your post....I think you mentioned something about helping grandma take down the christmas crap day or something......I laughed right out loud at work when I read that one:7 :7 :D !!!
