4DS!!!

If you don't have it, get it! Don't mean to brag, but......I just got done doing PUB Bis, GS Bis & CTX Bis and OH MY GOSH, honest-to-goodness, I cannot believe how much stronger I am after doing 4DS for 10 weeks. (I could not pull myself away from it!) I decided I really needed to do something diff just to shake things up and what a wonderful feeling. I matched Cathe on everything EXCEPT wrist curls...she did 12's & I only did 10's as sometimes it makes my Carpel Tunnel act up...I even used those 15# BIG BABIES on PUB traditional curls & hammer curls! I just feel so accomplished especially because I did THREE workouts and kept up on all weight & just wanted to share. KUDOS to 4DS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL be ready for Cathe to bring it on with STS!!!!

That is an accomplishment you should DEFINITELY be proud of! I also love the 4DS. It is a fun, seemingly quick and effective WO!

I am right with you on the 4DS - what an amazing collection of workouts - I have seen more changes with these workouts than I had in everything else I attempted at last year. I love them and always want to goto them first...

If you dont have it - get it - if you have it - use it!!! }(

AWESOME!!! Congratulations not only on matching Cathe, but getting such great results! That is fantastic.

You are also my hero and my inspiration: I just received 4DS and have not had a chance to try it yet-- now I can't wait to do it, and I hope I get the same great results you did!

My re-immersion into workout land is going very well. I've increased my weight on the bar from nothing (just the 5 lb. bar) to 25 lbs. now-- and I think I'm ready to go to 30 on barbell squats and dead rows/dead lifts. I even got through the Step Blast challenge the other day, something I have never been able to do before!! (Ok, so I stopped and rested between each segment, but I could never do it before even if I did stop and rest). And yesterday, I did 11 pushups! When I started 2 weeks ago, I could only do 3. AND I survived Legs and Glutes the other day! Much to be thankful for.

Thanks for all the inspiration and encouragement! I hope you continue to see great results!

Great 4-Day Split Results!!!!

Thanks for sharing your great results with us! I am still loving the 4-Day Split. It is a fantastic series with the perfect balance of cardio and weights and a great variety of cardio styles. It is fun and effective! My biceps and triceps are finally getting stronger. I am excited because they are my weakest parts, and I am looking forward to STS.

I am wrapping up Week 7 of a 12-week challenge using this series. What do you suggest I use for my next challenge to prepare for STS? I am thinking that I will need to move on to different workouts for a change of pace to shock my body. I have a few ideas.

RE: Great 4-Day Split Results!!!!

Yay Deb! 4DS has been my mainstay during knee surgery recovery. I can modify the LIS portion, and do the upper body weight segments to get my daily "Cathe fix." (Oops, sorry, a drug reference)

I have to admit that I amazed myself. I wasn't feeling any different while doing 4DS other then, I love the series a LOT...it wasn't til I changed up my rotation and saw the big jumps I took in weight in some exercises. (The advantage of writing everything down) Heather, I am not sure if this will work for you but I decided to give this a go....I am doing a One-Body-Part/day using PUB, GS & CTX, such as...yesterday I did all BIS from PUB/GS/CTX and today I did all TRIS from the same three workouts. I did this last summer and got great results...more definition as my body loves to hang onto fat! I only used this method for UB...it would be too long and not possible to do all 3 LB workouts unless I wanted to kill myself. Ha!

Robin, good for you for hanging in there and doing what you can do after surgery! I hope you are healing fast. AMAZING that you can do LIS, even if it IS modified! Great job!

Debbie, that is great. I was thinking that I needed to start a rotation with these next. When I recieved them I also recieved other workouts and never stuck with one series for a full rotation. I do like them a lot. It feels great when you have built enough strength and stamina from one workout series to make the others seem easier. Great job!! :D

Debbie, thanks for posting this. I have been going back and forth about getting this or not and your post sent me over the edge}(. I found it on the yaya swap and I should have it by next weekend. I can't wait to do the weight work.
