4DS vs CTX vs Timesaver

Since I'm so time-crunched these days, I'm looking for shorter workouts (less than 45 mins) and have been looking into 4 Day Split, Cross Train Xpress and Timesaver workouts as possible next purchases. I already have all of the Body Blast series of workouts so not sure if Timesaver is a wise choice for me. I'm interested in weights workouts as well as cardio (which I would have to modify to make the workouts mostly low impact). I would love opinions on all of these three sets. Please don't tell me to get them all!

4DS

My vote would be 4DS. I own all three of the DVD's you mentioned and use 4DS the most. There are SO many great premixes on 4DS.
My second choice would be CTX.

Your decision may depend on what kind of weight work you want. CTX uses light weights(not too light but lighter) where as 4D's uses heavier weights. I LOVE CTX, it is my favorite series but I also like 4D's. I don't think you can go wrong with either series.

HTH! Happy shopping! :)

You get a lot more premix options with 4DS, so you may feel like you're getting more value from your purchase.

The Kickbox workout from CTX is still my favorite kickbox workout Cathe has made.

Both have a good mix of cardio intensity. With the weights, you can use as low or high an amount you are comfortable with.

Thanks for your replies. Am leaning more towards 4DS, as I guess CTX doesn't have any premixes huh? Am also concerned that CTX is about 10 years old now (not that that should make a difference I know).

ETA: Have just caved and bought CTX too. Pleased that both 4DS and CTX both come in single dvd cases - makes it easier to explain to DH ("I only bought two dvds honey!")
