4DS Results?

Can anyone tell me their experience with losing weight/toning up with Cathe's 4DS series? I wanted to try a rotation using this series but I'm used to doing heavier cardio. I'd like to use the series "as is" and I'm looking to drop about 5 lbs and tone up all over.

Anyone ever try Cathe's 4DS rotation and get results? If so, what kind?

PS- Sorry if this is a "repeat thread", but I did do an advanced search for 4DS and there is so much to read thru!

Hi,

I bought 4DS back in July. I did it weekly until mid-September. I began seeing my upper body tone up as early as a week after I started it! Within a month, both my upper body & lower body became more solid than it ever had with doing other non-Cathe workouts I had done previously. After a couple of months, someone noted they could see my toned tricep muscles (a compliment I thought I never would get as I have more of an endomorph type body).

As far as weight loss, I only lost 3-4 lbs doing 4DS for 2 1/2 months, but I was not eating clean. I know that is what prevented me from losing more. But I'm planning to start it up again weekly in Nov-Dec & try to eat cleaner. Hopefully, I see the scale move favorably!

I love the step routines in 4DS, although it took awhile to get them, they are fun & my favorites of the series. Kickboxing is my next favorite & Bootcamp is the workout that I love to hate--but after I push my way through it, I feel exhilirated & willing to give another try next week.

Hi, I bought 4DS when it first came out. I used the rotation for about 4 weeks or so. Before week two I could already see my silhouette changing, shoulders were popping, arms firming up, mid section whittling down. My weight did not change, but I dropped several inches. Jeans fit much better, waist in slacks were little looser, etc.

I've broke away and used my other Cathe dvds for a bit. Recently went back to 4DS and started eating clean and included an interval walk/jog/run 3 mornings. I lost four pounds!! That's big for me because I could not break the 130 mark. My goal was to get to 125 and I'm almost there. Ultimate goal - would love to be 120 pounds.

I don't have it yet, but I can tell you that 4DS is a favorite with many, especially the weight portion. If you ever have the time to read through those search results, you'll see what I mean. :)

I'm dying to try it, but I'm attempting to practice some self control. I'm waiting until I have enough cash back on my Discover before I order it. :p It's killing me!
 
Tara- thanks for sharing your results! I'm glad to hear about the "toning" because I was afraid of maybe getting "bulky" with heavy weights. I need to work on eating cleaner myself!


Carmen - a sister in Christ! :) Thanks for sharing your results as well! I liked how you said your arms firmed up and waist "whittled" down! I'd rather see my pants gets loose, as you said, than what the scale has to say! I'm glad you like my user name - AMEN to that! He lives in me too!

Laughing Water - I did have a chance to read some of the other threads, I got a lot of positive feedback from those!

I'm going to start Cathe's 4DS rotation in November, wish me luck! Thanks again for the responses!
