I just did the Premix for Heavy Legs which includes the calves plus I added the core work from that same DVD. I was very curious as I had read from many other posts that the leg weights in the 4DS were not enough. I have to say that I absolutely loved it. I have found that I have to do my weights and my cardio on separate days and need to work core on my weight days. The 4DS Legs Only premix states that it is 31 minutes, however it probably takes me at minimum 37 as I have to take a bit longer breaks between sets than Cathe and the crew. I have never found the floor work to be effective for me so I always have skipped it on other DVDs and just gone as heavy as possible with my squats and lunges.
I just LOVE that I can get my weights and ab days done in about 45 minutes, and typically my cardio I'll do either 30 - 45 minutes. Here is the rotation I am doing using all Cathe:
M: 4DS All Lower Premix + Core
T: 4DS Chest & Back + 4DS Shoulders
W: 4DS Kickbox
R: Low Max Premix 4-7 (44 minutes)
F: The original BootCamp DVD all weights premix -- If I'm feeling energetic I will throw in the 10 cardio sessions at the end.
S: Power Yoga or Treadmill Cardio Coach
I find that if I eat properly I don't have to spend hours working out to get definition and stay trim.
Sorry for blabbing on and on -- I've just been in a workout rut and am very excited to have new workouts. I just finally broke down and ordered the 4 Day Split recently. I love it and will get a lot of use out of it. Thanks Cathe!
