40's - Xmas week, who's in?

I was up in the middle of the night last night and was reading, got to the end and the book was really good, so I decided to finish it this morning while I was doing the elip. 1.25 miles, I still plan to do a cardio tonight since tomorrow will be no w/o since getting up early to drive to the mountains to outlet shop. Will be snowing, DH will get to try out his 4 wheel drive (haven't had snow since he got it in late April).
Mary, you make me feel like a slug, I've haven't (won't either) done a bit of cooking.

oops, i posted on last week. I did circuit blast, so I guess I am in. Have fun with your stuffles! Mary, Santa visit sounds fun. I agree, Lisa's dinner out a good call too. Roxie how did your family plans shape up? I did grocery last night at 9 pm- I went to the nicest publix store in affluent area, I figured they were all too civilized and well planned out to be grocery shopping so late, worked out well, but not sure if it was b/c of my reasoning but who cares, no lines, no crowds was nice regardless. Dad on his way. ttyl

Forgot to say, we did get the 1st choice restaurant. DH said if they ask about our anniv to just play along, he's so bad, our anniv is in Feb!
Jody, what a brilliant idea! I'm too scared to go out in the stores, hoping the outlet in the mountains isn't crowded (seriously who would be there on Christmas Eve day?....guess I'll find out). It's a nice area for outlets too, it's spread out so you have to walk on the walkways under the interstate and street (or drive). I'm imagining snow falling, crunching thru the snow, bundled up with packages.
Mary, a little surprised you have ages for santa still? Memories are priceless, they'll get us thru our old age (as long as we remember them, ha). My kids don't remember any of the stuff we used to do with them until late middle school/early high school it seems. So I guess the memories were for us!

Good Evening,
We went to DH's sisters house for christmas dinner and presents then went out to eat with dd and her bf for her 25th birthday. I ate so much today I feel like I gained 10lbs.
Lisa-have fun at the outlet.

Jody-dd and her dh and gs are coming over tomarrow night and then youngest dd is coming over on christmas day because she works at walmart christmas eve until 9.

Merry Christmas Eve! I hope you all have a great day! I think PH today, yesterday was at the half price bookstore, I got core max for......$1!!!! That is one of the only ones I didn't have! Merry Christmas my 40 friends! Had fun shopping yesterday and now wearing my new fleecy PJs. So soft and cuddly. We had a White Christmas! So dry feeling here though, my sinuses feel awful and headache. Got DH a netti-pot so instead I used it this morning to try to relieve my sinuses...verdict is still out, hoping the salt with the essential oils I bought for the netti-pot helps. Anyone use one?
I did try to do MMA KB, stopped after 2nd combo, good enough, 3 more hrs and we head out to our romantic dinner!
It was a fun time shopping yesterday, and wrapping up some little gifts I got today for the boys and their girls. What a hoot shopping for my christmas presents, haha

Yesterday I did CLX Lean Circuit 1 and the TM and today was the TM. We had our kids over last night for christmas GS was a smiling happy little boy. Today youngest DD and her BF came over and spent the day, we played games on the wii then ate supper.
Lisa-my sinuses are bothering me Dh put a humidifier in our room. My boss swears by the netti pot she uses it everyday.

Roxie, our noses seemed to run more today so maybe after using a few days we will feel better. It's been uber dry here and my sinuses are not liking it (not that they ever have, but it's worse).

Hi girls. We had a nice christmas at my home with my parents plus I invited my former semi regular bf over. I thought I was gonna have to throw him out before he walked in the door bc he made a snide comment about my front entrance. I'm not putting up with put downs.. dd 19 was a great help and dinner turned out great.
Lisa, congrats on shopping fun. I've used netti Pot but don't have sinus issues-especially if I avoid drinking cow milk so I threw it out during move. You still have christmas days to go with the boys?

Mary, our time off from college is slipping away, but we have a week or so of non holiday focus to enjoy.
Work out note,.i can't sit indian style, wth? Maybe from one of my weekend warrior efforts I've scrunched up a muscle in r groin area?- psoas muscle? Gotta fix it bad enough I'm not dancing but to not even sit cross cross apple sauce?

I am on my final 3 day countdown and for some odd reason I feel quilty leaving them especially since his ribs are broken someone talk some since into me. Tonite is CLX Lean Circuit 2 for the last time and then some cardio, my wt. is down but bf% still hanging around 29.
Lisa-the place you went looks beautiful a perfect place to get married.
Jody-we got new phones and typing on them is a bitch.

Well, we wimped out on going cc skiing, it's frigid cold! And I must admit I wanted to hang at home in my fleecies My headache is gone thank goodness! I think part of it is I have to take 1/2 benadryl at least every other day or it flares up, but if I take it in the winter when it's already dry it dries me up too much. So I'll try with the neti pot everynight, geez, my nightime routine gets even longer! lol No w/o yet, I plan to do HR tonight, now that I said it maybe I will follow thru!
Jody, snide comments do get old (my sis is notorious for them). That was a long post from a phone! Take it easy with your groin muscle. Yes, on Sat is when we have the kids over. I'm not cooking much either, getting a honey baked ham.
Roxie, how fun to have a happy baby for Christmas! What kind of sinus issues you having? dried out? Does this winter seem drier to you?

Hi girls! Today did travel fit with new bands Santa brought me, I am in awe of Ronne using the blue one! My excuse is it was new and tight. Moxie, don't you dare feel guilty! Remember, he's your boss and it's a business. Tho, I totally get where you are coming from. Gosh, I'm not much help am I? And why did I type moxie instead of Roxie? I did back only from GS and a step cardio mish mosh (w/u was 1st segment of RS and then I did the step from MIC). I got firewalker bands, too but from TArget. They seem too big. It was cool for a few days but AC running now. It probably was good that I cut off the smart ass comments at the front door. It set the tone of if you can't say something nice get the heck out. Roxie, do you want to keep working there until you move? If so, maybe you can negotiate a shorter work week?

Jody-that is the problem I don't know what I want, I know I have alot of packing to do but we still don't have a place to live and being without a paycheck makes me nervous. There is no way to negotiate shorter work days if I don't quit they won't find anyone to take my place because they have me to do everything.
