Jody, Sounds like you had w/o ADD with that mish-mosh :) I bet you wouldn't like the temp in my house. I try to keep it 63-65 during the day and 55 at night, mostly to keep the drying heat at bay, but also because I get warmish if I move around too much (ie, instead of lying prone on the couch). I've been known to turn it down to 61 when cleaning, speaking of which, dusting day tomorrow, yuck!

Roxie, good job getting your w/o in. I'm stoked to get the new cathe w/o's. Can't wait to get my download link....I also am getting the dvds since I'm lazy when creating the premixes. I hope the dvds work, HR froze at the stretch and I used a different dvd player (playstation).

Tonite for me will be cardio I need a short one I have alot of stuff to do before my family christmas on Saturday.

Lisa-I would freeze in your house. We put a humidifier in our bedroom and close the door so I can breathe easier at night. Our house is at 70 and we still put a blanket on in the evenings while watching Tv.
 
Hello all! Today did disc 9 from STS, legs. i see they are starting to ship the new ones! Very exciting! Roxie, you would be cold in our house too! We keep it at 62. We went to my parents the other day, they keep it at 70 also and we were falling asleep! I just tell the kids to put a hoodie on. Tomorrow is your last day? Will they have a party for you? Lisa, I don't want to see how old I will look! It"s creeping up fast enough! Jody, were you creative today? The storm wasn't bad at all, sometimes they exagerate a bit, I spelled that all wrong!
We have a birthday party today, have to run to Target,have a good day! Mary

Lisa, we keep ac at 80 and heat at 72+. Did you do the face thing? I don't need that strong of a visual, I'd rather think I'm going to look uniquely youthful- don't want my fantasy ruined!
Roxie, why don't you stay on until you have a move date and new physical addy? You can still pack up extra stuff (or if you are like me make several trips to donate or offers on freecycle). They may pull the rug out from under you anyway since they know you are going.
Mary, are you limited in getting around due to storm or you guys just know how to manage.
I designed another step mish mash. I did 2nd segment of RS as my warm up and then the first 5 intervals of IMAX for about 35 min of fun step and then shoulders from GS. Sad moment on the scale today, but not surprising wt gain. Back to square one.
 
I never did my w/o, DH got tired of me complaining about my sinuses and said let's get a humidifier (I didn't get teh same reaction a couple months ago when I said I needed one for my hair), so I showered so we could get to the store. I used to use a lot of humidifiers when I moved here from FL, thought I acclimated after the last of them quit working a decade ago. Guess not, or else it's that AGING thing, grrrr. Yes I did it on that website, something really bad happens to my mouth! DH says that on the last one it looks like I'm a zombie from the dead. On DH I recognize some of his Uncles in his pictures but mine, something really goes wrong.

So I'm waiting for the download link and hope to do one of the new w/o's tonight.

Jody, what pics were you posting (I like pics)? The ones from FB? Your girls look just like you! Nice to see your dad too! My scale isn't coorporating with me either. My headache brain doesn't know how to spell coorporating right now :)

Mary, so good to see a fellow cold person here! I say you can always put on more clothes! And yes 70 in winter would make me sleepy too! I forget what we keep it at summertime but I know we keep it colder than fellow friends. Maybe when it's summer we can reopen the discussion :) I'm thinking we keep it at 73 at night and 76 during day for summer.

Roxie, I'm trying to prepare for our Saturday Christmas too! Tomorrow I will have to be doing more. I did buy a couple of games at Walmart for the boys that we will play on Saturday (we love to play games).
 
Yep, from FB. Carly got her hair cut today. Wow. I loved her hair long, so I am happy to love her new look, too. It was so different I got tears of amazement.

Good Evening,

No workout to report I went grocery shopping after work to get what I need for Saturday dinner. The boss lady asked me to work part time like Tue, Thurs or M,W,F or M-F 9-2 I haven't decided yet thinking M,W,F 9-2 makes me feel better so I will have money coming in.

Jody-your daughters hair is cute.
 
Time to be jelly you all, I downloaded all my XtRAIN!!!!! I just finished supercuts and core bonus 1. For the most part I liked supercuts, it could be one of my favs, of course a few moves I don't like. Burpees with jack pushups found it's way in there, grrrrr, do not like those. Banana crunches (I think that's what she called them I couldn't do, my abs wouldn't have it), I did NOT like 8 sets of 5 full sit ups, flip, 5 pushups repeat 8 times. I didn't flip fast enough! This is the kick in the pants I needed. Oh, and my head is feeling better since I've been breathing over the humidifier, will see how it does overnight, that's when it gets the worse.

Jody, your daughters cut is really cute!

Roxie, would working full days like M-W-F be better? That way you have 2 full days off to be doing moving stuff or even just being in the new town once you get there? That way just a commute for you 3 days a week? Just a thought.

I have so much to do before tomarrow I am overwhelmed and starting to get sick my throat is scratchy and I am congested still trying to convince myself its allergies.

Lisa-I am total jealous and can't wait to get my hands on those workouts they sound tough. I am not going to commute I will fully quit when we get moved. I will use T, Th to go look for another job and the other afternoons will be spent packing.
 
I did Xtrain Hard Strikes this morning, I used 1 lb hand weights, at time I was thinking I should have used 1/2 lb hand weights (cathe's gloves are 12 oz, so right in between). Either my UB was too tired from everything else the last couple of days (though I didn't think they were), or from the 1 lb hand weigths, but by the time the cond drills came on I couldn't do them all. I did try out the heavy bag bonus, not sure I like it, again used 1 lb hand weights, it's more a rapid fire punches in tabata style, I only did 1/2 way thru. Oh and those darn 5 sit ups/5 push ups, repeat are in the hard strikes too, I skipped them. Again my body was beat!

Roxie, it's good you have the option to work some while doing other things. Maybe after the new year things will start working themselves out.
 
Hi girls! Today did C, S& T from meso 2. Lisa, sounds like you are having fun with the new ones! I hope to get min Saturday or Monday. Maybe your arms were tired from yesterday? That sit up/pushup combo sounds brutal! Roxie, it will all come together, the holidays are overwhelming. Hope you feel better soon. Work schedule sounds perfect! Jody, you have a beautiful family. Continuing my trend...RS section 3 as warm up then the cardio only premix from Circuit Blast and then bi s from GS.
Yea! Party at Mary's tonight- lets all drop in! Roxie sorry about sore throat, etc. Too much going on with the job changes and all so try to just let the holiday stuff sort itself out without too much heroic effort and have a nice weekend if you can.
Lisa, are you fixing dinner for family tomorrow? I was pleased how mine came together. I don't host or cook too often.

so I was going to do the Xtrain LI Hiit but it froze 10 min in. Great, now I have freezing problems on the downloads? I'll have to see later if the download was just bad or something, anyway so I did Tabatacize. OMG, she warns you that you may not be able to do it all so I was expecting bad. Tabata1, did both sets, then for recovery was 4 sets of power 15's? so now in tabata2, I only did 1 set of the tabatas (ie. I didn't repeat), then ff to the recovery step (which is not much of a recovery, tabata3, hmmm,seemed easier but I'm gonna now stick with only doing one set, got to the recovery, OMG, forget what it was but that's when I started doing only 1 set of the recoveries! Tabata4, one set, recovery not so bad did it all, tabata5 one set and I think I did all the recovery (can't remember at this point). This one is definitely going into the workout blender to not do any repeats (there isn't a premix that will do what I want that I can see). All in all 10 min of LI Hiit (ie the warm up) before it froze and 35 min of tabatacize. Now it's time for Christmas dinner! Happy Saturday all!

Oh and my shoulders feel tired and lats a bit sore....hmmmm, from hard strikes with the hand weights?

Hi girls! Today did LIS step from 4DS, then back and bi's from the same. Lisa, and Roxie, have fun at your Christmas today! Lisa, we played a fun game at the party we were at last night, Wits and Wages, I think it was called, fun! And I don't like games! Jody, how creative were you today? Funny about the day flying by, it seems like there just isn't enough time in a day! Or I piddle it all away! Roxie, hope you are feeling better. Not sure what we will get into today. The weather men said 2 inches of snow, I think we have had 8 so far and it's still coming down! Have a good day! Mary
 
Wow Mary, you've had more snow than we did here, we haven't even shoveled this winter (well, the people facing North had to shovel the 3" inches or so we got on Christmas).
 
I did a modified GS legs ts, CF TS and some more RS plus some AS but those were learning curve intensity.
Lisa, what is next on the new workout agenda? I don't think she can resist pushing up the intensity. Roxie, you are waiting for mail? Enjoy your Christmas Saturdays. I am working on getting back into some heavy veggie habits. Mary, snowy Christmas sounds niceish. I like games, especially trivia but also cards, scrabble, etc. Take care, yall.
ps lisa what if you did true rest between tabata sets? That is usually how I've seen it done, I think.

I had a nice time with my family everything went smooth. My new workouts arrived today can't wait to watch them and start a rotation on the 7th, I still have to finish CLX since I haven't worked out since Wednesday.
 
Had a nice time with the kids yesterday. We had fun playing headbangers (you put a card on your head and ask yes/no questions trying to figure out what you are). I was exhausted by the time they left. I slept 11 hrs last night. For some reason, even though I've been off work these last couple of weeks I still have a day a week that I just crash out like that. I'm beginning to suspect thyroid, my gyno has been testing for it last couple of years so when I go again will see where it is at. Sure I'm working out but that shouldn't wipe me out like I've been feeling. I'm sleeping pretty well now that I'm on HRT and was doing good and now just pure exhaustion. Anyway, I did Xtrain Bi/Tri this morning. Time flew! So thumbs up on this one. I almost didn't workout, everything that could go wrong did :) I slept late, so got a very late start, went downstairs to w/o, realized I forgot my ipad, upstairs to get it, downstairs to pick up the weight printout, printed wrong pages, upstairs to print right pages, downstairs to pick them up and w/o, now the printer doesn't print, upstairs to tell DH, downstairs to just start the w/o, maybe the weights Cathe uses are in the w/o, started w/o, got worried the weigths wouldn't be shown on the w/o(they are) and thougth, duh, I can bring the laptop down here, upstairs to get laptop, downstairs to w/o. Geez, I got a w/o just going up and down the stairs!

Roxie, I'd like to do one of the rotations in Xtrain, I just am so bad about sticking to rotations though. Glad you had a nice time with family as well.

Jody, I still don't think I could do all those tabatas even with pure rests. I made a blender of just one set of each, w/o comes in at 33 min, that's a good amount of time for that type of w/o. I'm a bit bummed about my weight, it just isn't going down no matter it seems (it starts and then back up I go), wondering if the HRT is causing some of the gain......that or that dreaded 3 letter word....AGE!
