No one started a thread? Did HR all but the abs. I haven't done this in ages in it's entirety, why did it seem so hard?

Ronne, yea for Murray! :)

Hi girls! Today did YR and the rower, yesterday was KCM SS, LB. Lisa, did you get some sleep? What is DS going to Chile for? Jody, how was date night? DH took me on date nite yesterday! Murphy, what a good idea for the rotation! Jody, so RT it is? Ronne, how was weekend away? Roxie is gone, hope she is having fun! Hi Becky! DS was kidnapped on Friday nite, he kept texting me during the night to tell me he was still awake!? He was exhausted yesterday and so was I! Have a good day! Mary

Hi ya,
I put LIS LiCh in but couldn't warm up to it, so I hopped on bike and ended up doing 12 miles, about 75 min. I saw a snowy egret, a gopher tortoise and one homeless guy. : (
Date w/ plantonic squeeze was OK. We go to some amazing places to eat but last night I didn't hit the winner dish.
Mary, ds must have been discombobulated from the kidnapping! I hope you had fun on your date.
Ronne, my congrats on Murray as well.
Lisa, thanks for starting the thread. : ) I think its been awhile since i've done any total body from start to finish.
Waves to Murphy, and also Roxie on vaca and Becky. Hope all is well.

Hi all

Wow, what a weekend. Our friends are Olympic junkies as well so we spent most of the weekend cheering in front of the TV! (We did manage to get out for a walk yesterday!). I know you're used to winning loads of medals in the US but on Saturday GB won 6!!! Incredible and then topped off yesterday with Murray's win.
This week's going to be a bit erratic for exercise, at home with DD all week, days out here and there seeing friends and doing bits of last minute shopping for holiday! Planning to do 4DS LIS today.
Taking DD to get her ears pierced this afternoon - she's so excited.

Jody - sometimes choices are just overwhelming. If someone told you, you have to do RT, would you just accept that?

Mary - hope your DS has recovered! It sounds exhausting.

Lisa - it felt hard because it is hard! This is Cathe we're talking about!

Hi all. Just did one of the turbo barre premixes - they are still pretty much an hour long. Anyway, I was "running short on time" so the 57 minutes was better than the 74 minutes. ;-)

Jody - glad you made a decision on the program. Stop thinking about it and just go with it.

Ronne - have a fun week w/ DD.

Lisa - I agre w/ Ronne - it is a Cathe afterall.

Waves to Mary, Becky and Roxie.

No w/o here, I actually slept thru the night last night and got up too late to w/o, going into office today.

Ronne, sometimes it's more special when you don't always get the gold medal, makes the ones you do get better. I loved watching the 10,000 m brit win (usa was second).

Jody,I agree with Murphy, go with it, move on, quit second guesssing. Put your all into the RT.

Mary, Your DS was funny, too soon, they will be too independent. Some days I wish I'd had at least one girl, miss that mother-daughter bond. DS23 in Chile to oversee the electrical engineering work for a solar plant they are building. Will be there 3 weeks. DIL refuses to live in their apartment alone, I know she's living with her parent's. I don't get it, when I was 21, I wanted the independence, in fact, I moved from FL to CO. Talk about spunk, ah, how I wish I had that spunk again. Sometimes I'd like some do-overs :)

Murphy, isn't funny how you think a w/o will be easy and it whips your butt? Yea, it is CAthe and then there is Cathe on Steriods (you know those w/o's that stay at the bottom of the pile).

Lisa, first time back? Hope you have a good day in there.
I liked watching the fastest woman in the world keep her record, can't remember her name, Fraser?, but I think she was Jamaican, so sweet.

Hi girls! Today was a premix from AT and the row. Still not getting any easier! Lisa, how is work going? Are they being nice? We can come and kickboxing them all til they are begging for mercy! Jody, good job on your decision! Murphy, those premixes on TB are all long! Ronne, sounds like the perfect weekend! I was just watching the horses jump, love that for some reason. How did DD do? Shopping today, twins are turning 14 this week. They get more expensive as they age! Lisa, that sounds like a great trip for DS, I agree with you about DIL, I would think she would love to have the place all on her own! I know I would! Hope everyone is having a good day! Mary

Thought I'd report back, not on a w/o, but on the people at work. Thankfully they were nice....no snide comments about a picture (I had a demeaning remark ready but I so hate being mean to people, thankfully I didn't have to). My eye area right in the corner is a bit red and feeling really tight by teh end of the day, even with putting a light layer of vaseline (per doc) on it, couldn't wait to get home, wash my face and put a nice thick gob of vaseline on it. I did talk to a couple people about it, even pointing out the scar when they didn't see the one by my mouth (thank you makeup), so I'm not opposed to talking about it, I'm opposed (and hurt) when hurtful comments are made. DH is home this week, so I won't w/o tonight either (a good excuse, right?) Was supposed to do 14er with GF, but after today I think maybe I may postpone until next week when hopefully my eye area isn't bothering me as much.

Mary, I did like the thought of you all all ganging up on them and kickboxing them all to the tunes of a Cathe w/o :)

Lisa, I'm glad today went OK. Yeah, and if we all ganged up on your co workers, we could be wearing our workout clothes, we would be a dorky gang of fit middle aged attack moms. I don't kickbox, though, I'd have to stomp someone with a fast foot shuffle. : )
I agree, if dh home and you two can hang out, I'd take the evening off.

I did most of BM, just left out bi tri and sh, will tack them on to something else tomorrow. Think good thoughts for me at doc visit tomorrow afternoon to help manifest a clear check up. Thanks for all the other support, too. xoxox

Mary, a birthday weekend, voot! They are just a year away from getting learner's permit. Do you think they'll be anxious to do so?

Murphy, Turbo Barre is in the back of my LIS case, next to the yoga dvds. I'll have to give it another try.

Ronne, my dtr passed out with her ear piercing! I love earrings, can't imagine not having pierced ears. Your holiday will be here soon? We are going back in less than 3 weeks.

Only have a second, running behind as usual. Did HiiT 40/20 and stability ball abs. I am able to do more with the Hiit's but still have to modify towards the end. I'll b back for personals but I must say, I love the idea of fit middle-aged women going to people's office's to kickbutt. :)

Hi girls! Did ME, I wasn't too bright, did the rower first to get it out of the way. My body was just shaking the whole time! Jody, good thoughts and prayers coming your way! Hope all goes well. Lisa, so glad they were kind to you. Murphy, good job with your work out so early! Ronne, how did she do? We watched the men's triathlon this morning, the route was beautiful! Have to make lunch to take to DD at school, they get a long lunch break, Mary

Did Cycle Max this morning, my PF was bothering me in my right foot, I think because I didn't stretch after HR on Monday (bad me). I thought many times about quitting early but hung in there. I feel about the bike like Mary feels about the rower.

Jody, hope all goes well for you at dr today.

Murphy, I think running behind is my middle name! Got into work waaaaay late, it didn't help that I didn't want to work (I'm spoiled from working from home last 2 weeks).

Mary, when does school start? DS20 college starts Aug 21, will be here before you know it!

Ronne, did the ears get pierced? I have 2 holes in each ear, but now only wear one earring. the first holes was done by my MOM!

Oh, do I dare say I'm soooooo tired of these high bugs? I'm about ready to go with my DS23 in Chile, it's winter down there!

Good Afternoon,

This is what I have been up to so far Sunday was spent at Creede Colorado exploring a mine that is still open and buying some beautiful amethyst rocks then we went for a 1.5 mile walk at the bachelor loop. Monday was spent driving to Taos NM and then Santa Fe NM I bought a ring there from and Indian lady. Today we are fishing and then going for a hike, tomarrow is a 14 mile hike to Wheeler Geological. Its gorgeous here no high bugs perfect temps. I asked my trainer what 4 more sessions to finish out the month would be and she said she would charge me 99.00 fore three of them and give me one for free so I am thinking about doing that.

Jody-I hope everything goes well.

Lisa-I have two hokes in each ear and my mom did the first ones too. I also had one on the top of my ear but it bothered me to much.

Hi to everyone else.

Hi Ladies

Late check-in for me today. Did KCM Muscle Definition this morning. Lazy morning with DD and then we had friends round this afternoon ... and watched some more Olympics!!
Thanks for all the enquiries about DD - she was fine. She was really nervous and winced a bit but was fine. It does look odd seeing her with earrings.

Lisa - glad the return to work went well. Your DS is so lucky getting to go to Chile! I've never been to S. America.

Mary - your twins are 14?!! How did that happen? It goes so quickly doesn't it?! Are they getting teenagery yet?

Roxie - sounds like you're having a good holiday.

Jody - good luck! Hope it's good news for you.

Murphy - that is such a cool idea! I'm up for it! :)

May not get to check in tomorrow as DD and I are off to London to do a bit of tourist stuff. Apparently, the rest of London is pretty empty as people have stayed away 'cos of the Olympics! So we're planning to go on the London Eye and go to the Science Museum.

I forgot to mention I manage to get a cold my throat hurts and my nose is stuffed and I sneeze a lot I don't know if its a change in altitude or a cold but I feel miserable. No hike today its raining.

GF and I are planning to go to the mountains tomorrow, then hike on Mt Elbert (tallest mountain in CO) on Thursday. So I will be MIA for a bit. If I get a w/o in in the morning before we leave (I still have no idea when we are leaving, where we are staying, we are just winging it) I will post it.

Roxie, glad it's cooler for you! Maybe it's allergies? Weeds might be high right now.

Ronne, I want to go on the London Eye! I just love the London skyline, and then the countryside too, but mostly I'm loving your temps. I walk out to my car at lunch and back in and I'm sweating and my hair is damp with sweat. Granted it's a bit of a walk to the parking lot, but still it isn't but maybe 1/4 mile RT outside. GAH! I'm done with summer!

Heey, Roxie your trip sounds nice, bummer about the cold, hope the weather clears up and you can get back out there.
Lisa, enjoy your hikes.
Ronne, sounds like you are having a nice week, too w/ dd. I don't even know what the London Eye is but I love a science museum.
Mary, sounds like your relationship with the rower isn't very loving!
Murphy, I'm sure I modify those Hiits but as long as I'm still swinging, I count it.
Busy day getting ducks in a row for school and procedure at doc, will hear back next week about that. This aft I walked for 75 min (didn't jog) then went to dance but I'm feeling like maybe I shoulda just cooled it today. Bed.

Hi girls! Today will be CF. Roxie, I'm sorry you aren't feeling good. Hope you are still enjoying your vacation! Lisa, have fun in the mountains! Ronne, enjoy the Eye! Murphy, you doing anything fun? Jody, sending you good thoughts! We had a guy on Saturday who went to the movies with guns and knives, weird thing was DH and I went to dinner and sat outside on the patio to eat, it's an outdoor mall, movie theater is literally 25 feet from restaurant. Kind of weirding me out! I know nothing happened there, just makes you think. Hope everyone has a good day, DS and DH have a race tonite. Twins birthday tomorrow, we are going to hibachi restaurant. Mary

I did get in PUB. Have reservation at hotel, at least we won't be homeless tonight :) The hotel nearer where we are hiking was full (small town--Leadville), so staying 45 min away - Silverthorne (outlet mall heaven :) ) At least it cuts off about 2 hrs from our early morning wake up tomorrow. As it is staying in mountains we will still have to get up at 4AM or so. As it is, this is our longest/most elevation gain hike EVER. 9 miles RT, and 4700ft elevation gain. OY! Need to make it up before any afternoon thunderstorms, you know how I am about lightning :)

Mary, crazy about that guy! Saw that last night, I just shook my head.

Jody, maybe tomorrow you should take it easy. Pretty soon we will count it just for getting up and moving :)

Roxie, enjoy our mountains!

Waves to Murphy and Ronne (if she stops by)
