Happy Friday, everybody! I'm here, Lisa. I did AOS Santa Monica today. (Kettlebells) That workout is just so tough! Kettlebells are tough in a way that is hard to describe, but you really feel it. (DH took the day off).
No, I didn't tell him about the phone bill. We're getting along too well -- I don't want to spoil it!
Lisa, I like LowMax, although I wear a weighted vest for the blasts or intervals or whatever they're called. I haven't done it in a while, though. That's not on DH's list of approved (meaning: he can do them) workouts!
I'm glad your head is feeling better. Your experience makes me think that I need to be more careful about DD's head, since she has very fine hair (with a middle part) and she's already got a darker spot in her part from getting too much sun. If you don't mind, I'll tell her about what happened to you in hopes that I can get her to wear a hat more often.
Murphy, I'm glad you're feeling better! I hope it didn't take too much out of you. If I had to choose stomach vs. respiratory illness, I think I'd take stomach because I have a hard time recovering from respiratory (usually end up with some sort of awful infection).
Ronne, what is Double Wave Pyramid? Sounds tough!
Speaking of tough, I haven't started Insanity yet. I need to preview at least one disk, just to get over my fear of the unknown. Maybe I can get DH to join me. He's gained quite a bit around the middle over the winter.
Mary, in case you check in, have a Happy Easter. I'm going to have to start coloring eggs tomorrow... something the kids enjoy quite a bit. Now if I can only keep my eggs from cracking when I boil them! I always have a few casualties in each dozen.
Okay, back to work. DH is taking the afternoon off to play golf, but I've got DS home today... his Spring Break started a day early (for Good Friday -- he's in private school).
Have a great weekend, everybody! I'll "see" you next week!
