40's tis the season

Taking a well earned rest day. Last day of work. Then must do Grocery-max, I hate that one, but first have to do what-the-heck-do-we-want-to eat-max, I really hate that one more.

Ronne, enjoy your time off! I'm off until 1/2, but depending on snow in mtns we may take a day after the new year and all the snow bunnies are gone to ski. Hammered means getting drunk here too, but for a good snow dumping I've used it there too. I wonder if Mary is getting hammered right now, with snow that is!

Hi girls! Today did legs from STS. Haha! Hammered, I forgot about the other definition! It has happened to me before! Lisa, enjoy your day off! We didn't get but an inch of snow, maybe more later. Ronne, enjoy yourselves! Your holidays always sound so storybook, I'm jealous! Roxie, do you have to work Monday? Jody, what are you up to in the heat? I have to buy food also :(, it's going to be sooo crowded! Was a little nervous to send the kids to school today, there have been some threats made, Superindendent called said it was a hoax, that they would have police all over the schools, I was torn about keeping them home and trying not to instill fear in them. I don't even have the words I'm looking for....well, I'm sorry to end on such a note, have little ones party at school today and have to go get their stocking stuff! Will talk to you later, Mary
 
Mary, Very scary, guess we just have to live our life, do our best, and know that things will work out as they were meant to be. It kind of relates to how I've been feeling about something different but yet similar. I just found out a prev co-worker was diagnosed with cancer (I forget the kind exactly, some kind of blood), he is only 54, and he has a blog I was reading about his treatment (he's going to do a stem cell transplant) and the cost, etc, kind of made me melancholy to think of how many people I know now that are either sick or have left this earth and how young they were. It's hard not to dwell on things when it hits so close but I resolved that I have to live my life as well as I can and know I can handle what is put before me and pray that my life plan doesn't throw me a huge curve ball. Remember, I'm the planner so this is huge for me!
 
Good Afternoon,

I finally got a workout in last night DH got home late due to the weather so I did CLX Lean Circuit 2 and I will probably do cardio tonite. I got my sausage made and in the refrigerator now I need to cook it tonite. My boss lady has been begging me all week to stay but I told her it just can't happen. I got home last night and discovered I had a flat tire.

Mary-no we are closed until Wednesday I am looking forward to a 4 day weekend. This world is becoming a crazy place so we are just going to have to get use to stuff and hope for the best.

Lisa-I have the same problem of what are we going to eat tonite.

Ronne-I would love to be hammered and thinking that is probably going to happen sometime in the next 4 days. I don't know when DD and GS will be over for christmas I am really hoping its christmas day.
 
Roxie, you make your own sausage??? Is that hard to do? Kids all safe, very grateful, thanks for letting me worry out loud, Mary
 
Hi girls! Quick check in, did LICH #5 premix. Have to take the kids shopping so they can do their shopping. On a Saturday before Christmas? It's going to be insane! Hope all have a great day! Mary

I have 1 batch of Chex Mix made and laundry is almost done. I did CLX Lean Circuit 3, TM and Ab Burner now to get dressed and got to the grocery store I am out of worchestershire sauce.

Mary-have a good day with the kids, I am not looking forward to go out its going to be crazy.
 
I did JL R&C. For some reason I felt weak?

Roxie, I made a lot of Chex Mix, I must have fallen in with the garlic, it didn't agree with me. DS20 got the rest.

Mary, wow, you are one brave woman! But along the same crazy lines, DH and I are driving up to the mountain outlets on Monday. I'm thinking (hoping) most of the crazies will be at the mall and not in a remote mountain outlet mall. We will see. I want a good ski jacket because we are going cross country skiing the day after Christmas. I've never been cross country skiing, should be interesting.

Jody how is the cat? I hope it quiets her down (I'm sure it will).

Just popping in to say hi. Petri (cat) spayed on Fri and she's been worse for wear- pain? Was loopy, floppy yesterday eve and threw up her breakie this morning. She still woke me last night with meowing. I hope this improves, she's been waking us up 1-4 times/night since we got her. I'm fixing dinner Tues, having Dad here and an old friend of his, plus my mom. Lisa, have fun going out to dinner, shopping and cc skiing. Potential for fun and adventure in all 3. Roxie, I think the grocery may be worse than the malls. I still have all/both. Mary, do your kids know what they are trying to get or hoping for inspiration upon arrival?
Not sure about my workouts, definitely in a slump which I can't afford to be in but eating good is even more important for me but also a slump there. gak.
