40's Super-Fit in September

Good Evening,

It was really hot today and I was outside most of it so I am feeling drained so I will just do my planks.

Mary-a doctor from a surgical center in the town I am currently working offered me a CNA position if I want it but I would like something closer to home. I have applied with the school here where I live but haven't heard anything. I will start looking at other places Thursday.

Jody & Lisa-jealous of the road trip.

Ronne-good job with your workout.

Hi everyone

Roxie - so it's your last day today? Are you looking forward to having some time off?

Jody - I like the 40s + idea but I also like Better With Age. Or how about Ageing Disgracefully? I suspect we'll just carry on as we are. Sounds like a good decision sort of taken for you. Hope you can find a full time daytime hours job. I'm sure something will come along eventually and then you'll be glad you waited.

Lisa - yes, listen to your body. You don't want to be crocked for the road trip. So no-one's allowed to turn up in sweaty gear from the previous class?! :p

Mary - hope you're enjoying a bit of quiet time.

Did LLA premix, bonus barre no core. I liked it, although I was nearly crying at the beginning of the bonus barre!
Starting an evening course tonight, 10 weeks on novels of Mikhail Bulgakov. Feel like using my brain.

Did Supersets this morning and added on abs. I am trying to decide on the rotation for next month. Is anybody doing one?

Name Change - I am flexible on the name change. I do like the 40's + option but I will go with the consensus.
Lisa/Jody - there is a packing list on one of the early RT forums. It was VERY helpful. You really do need a ridiculous amount of outfits. I would pack two per day. You sweat A LOT.

I actually did the X77 premix! Of course I modified and only used 5 lb weights, but still my heart rate was sky high and I burned 655 calories! I think walked the dogs 2.5 miles. I got a nap in yesterday so was ready to hit it hard today, I laid down for a bit and before I knew it I was asleep for an hr!

Name Change, I don't care, just throwing ideas out. Whoever starts the Oct thread decides :)

Roxie, the outdoors, especially if hot, can really drain you!

Ronne, LOL nearly crying, try X77, then tell me how you feel! I was ready to throw in the towel but I had come so far I wasn't giving up (though the FBC portion was pretty pathetic attempt, but my HR was still high!)

Hello everyone! Running late. Today did CSS. Lisa, very impressive! I have never given that one a go and don't think I ever will! You must have eaten your wheaties! MURPHY, I like SS, always moves quickly. Roxie, are you going to enjoy some time off before you start looking for another job? If I could, I would most definitely stay home! Ronne, I have never heard of that author. I need to expand my brain! Right now, I'm stuck on this Irish author, Roison Meany, just love her stories! Jody, sounds like you mad a good choice, 3 12 hour shifts in a row is brutal. I'm sure a day shift position will open. Well, have to go pick up.....again! Mary
